The Rebel Faction

Ok, here are a few more ideas:

1) A sect of Coalition members tries to overthrow Regard, having tired of defeat after defeat. The insurrection is put down, and the key members are exiled from the Coalition. However, a number of military forces, tired also of expending themselves against the Empire, follows. Their ultimate goal is still the defeat of the Empire, but they have a few vendettas and other things to settle along the way...

2) An alien race in the unknown regions has enslaved a number of colonists and other civilizations. These slaves rebel, and a bloody civil war ensues. The rest of the Galaxy, intrigued by weapons and technology they've never seen before, is dragged in as the colonists and others struggle for their very survival....

3) The very few remaining survivors of Alderaan form an Alderann reborn movement, determined to make the galaxy a peaceful place to live, even if they have to exterminate most of it's population to do so... (ok maybe not a rebellion group persay, unless you're rebelling against the idea of warfare, using warfare in the process. Or something like that...)

4) A Coalition, Imperial, and BDE official all met for a little get together, say a round of tennis followed by exchanging stories with gin rocks. After they talked, they realized how much they had in common...and how cool they would be if they drew their forces together in a bid to takeover their respective goverments, one by one, and dominate the galaxy.....

Here's one:

A group of Coalition soldiers and citizens and some Jedi get together. Seeing the Coalition using Imperial tactics (Glee Anselm, Bilbringi) and embroiled in war (with the BDE and the Empire), and in light of the recent dissolution of the Jedi as an Order, they decide that no one is actually standing for what is right and good anymore. They therefore decide to form a New Rebellion that will stand against anything evil in the galaxy, including the Coalition if necessary. People flock to their banner from both the Empire and the Coalition, as well as some from other factions such as the Commonwealth and even the BDE. At first, the group is simply an annoyance to the Empire, their main target, but since the group will grow rapidly, the threat will soon become very real and very deadly.

There ya go Wes, that sounds like an excellent idea.
