Zeta stood, along with his number one apprentice, inside a hidden chamber of the temple. His gaze warned of penalty, though he neglected to mention any sort of punishment for Ophidian should he fail his mission.

"Do not make me forget why I have chosen you as my most prized apprentice."

After some time waiting, an unbearable cold swept over Rethus, and his hands instinctively snapped to his dual vibroblades, and unsheathed them. There was something different about this sudden change... it had happened before, as he touched the door panel at his apartment, opening the door to those who would murder his family. The feeling was very familiar.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a dark figure move...
