That said, if you can't get a general idea 'wassup' from that, you're probably never going to. Good luck.
The curve has been set, don't fuck up.

In regards to Han Solo, sorry, I will change that, I just needed a place holder name and forgot to change it. Although the Empire could have easily crushed the New Order, they chose not to, and rather shrank to avoid any conflicts. Since the location of their Core Worlds has never been revealed, the Atlantean Empire was content to fade into obscurity, at least until the fall of the Galactic Empire. The only reason Emperor Palpatine ordered seven invasions (and I did change the fleet size - it's smaller now- and might do so again if necessary) was because he had heard stories of it, and had seen their ships plying the spacelanes, and felt threatened by them (the Atlanteans). Also, the Atlantean Empire allows free travel across its borders, although military traffic is closely monitored, so no-one else would no about it. The Empire essentially sent out an FYI that said: "We claim these worlds to be inside our territory. So, continue to ignore us and act as if nothing has happened." Unless someone encroaches on the Core Worlds, it is possible to avoid conflict with the Empire entirely. And the "Great Atlantean Empire" is just that, a title. It is not an Empire anymore, it is just referred to that by the Atlantean people (a very proud race, no). I would prefer that people on the outside also refer to it as such. Also, the Altantean Navy only has THREE of those Fleet Destroyers, and she relies more on cruisers and destroyers (which are about 300 - 500 meters long) to patrol the Empire's Core Systems. Most of the outer territories are monitored by satellites, orbital facilities, and the occasional cutter patrol fleet. Anyway, sorry for any problems. This is just a history, and eventually, I'll have some of the culture in there. This was completely thought out, not just a spur of the moment decision. Everything I submit on the Atlanteans is based on my own original work. It had been adapted from a sci-fi book a friend and I are working on. Again, I apologize. I am especially sorry for breaking canon with that whole "Han Solo" thing. It was an accident, honest. I hope I can smooth any ruffled feathers. My only wish is to create a faction that could create some tension, and give people a variation from the whole "lightside/darkside, Jedi, smuggler, what-have-you" bit.
