The game is the shiznit.
Only problem is I didn't play for a few weeks and none of my save games are in the load screen. I still have the folder with the saved games in them but I can't get them to load. Any ideas?

I'm not much of an RPG kind of guy. FPS for me, generally speaking, with a lil RTS to keep things fresh. I'm wondering... Without a background in RPGS (I was never a fan of even the FF line) would I end up getting a kick out of this game? I'm really interested but still on the hedge, the best I've seen has been limited to a few moments here and there.

Well everything is scaled, so that means at level one, you cant go get the best uber-armor in the game. And at level 50, you're only finding uber armor.

Granted, I can count the RPGs I've played on one hand, but this is really one of the best RPGs I've ever played and I'm willing to bet you would love it too, Beff. The only people I can see not loving it are those that had certain things they wanted out of the game that they didn't get. It's an absolutely amazing RPG, and an amazing game in general. Beats KOTOR in my book.

I've played a lot of RPGs and and PnP games. Oblivion, other than it's bugs, is one of the best RPGs on the market. Why? Because it really is a FREE environment. It's not like so many RPGs which is just follow a plot with stats. And if you run into something you can't beat, just go around and kill random creeps until you can!
