He didn't specify who he was thinking of banning. Plus why would you care if you got banned or not? Do you really get that much enjoyment from not RPing, posting random stupid things and then having everyone insult you? If you got banned would it really affect you that much? I could see you protesting if you actually did some RPing or something, but you don't.

My friend just picked me up in his new Yaris. My god. I'm 6'4 @ 210 lbs and I wasn't pressed for space in the back alongside two computer stacks and a couple of book bags.

Solstice is a great car until you go to put something in the trunk... hey, wait, what trunk?
For a trunk and better reliability, the Mazda MX5 is a far better vehicle. Although the Solstice looks damn sexy with the top down...

Agreed, but something like that is so far out of the realm of possibility for me that, well, debating the logical choice takes some of the fun out of it.

My dad used to have an old 280Z, and even went as far as to have a custom turbo engine dropped into it. And even though it had no power steering, I still wanted that machine more than anything else. Then he up and sold it to some guy who moved to Montana. le sigh.

I think I'll pick some minds while we're all here. As mentioned earlier I'm driving a '96 Chevy Lumina. I want something smaller, in a two door if possible. Rear-wheel drive would be really nice. Any suggestions? I'd have to buy used, with a budget of ~3k USD. I'm looking for something with a bit of gut, though my sisters '95 Sunbird with a manual is actually pretty peppy. That 3.1l does OK on gas too. I get 25 MPG, I think she gets around 30.
A Very Questionable Potato
If you can find an unriced 240SX (any year) that would be perfect or a late 80s BMW 3 series coupe. Do NOT buy an F-Body (Firebird/Camaro) with a V6. They're simply without the redeeming qualities of the V8s, which have better suspension, brakes etc. If you want something really small look into the Mazda Miata and Mk.1 Toyota MR-2.
The BMWs parts will cost ~10-20% more than Mazda, Toyota or Nissan but they're a great chassis and the motors, if given regular doses of clean oil and coolant, are bulletproof. The nice thing about the Japanese cars is that they all share parts with more oft produced econobox sedans. Not that a 3 series is difficult to find.
And I don't think you've driven something fast enough if you think a Sunbird is peppy =/
Kraken, don't buy a pickup as a commuter vehicle. They're not as safe as cars and suck gasoline down. Go drive every Japanese compact sedan (Civic, Corolla, Protege, Lancer) and see which one you fit in best. Or hell, even a midsize like an Accord or Camry. If you can fit into a 2002+ Focus, they're also very good cars, despite the recalls on the older models. It took Ford a few years to sort them out for the US market.

Demosthenes X:The Mazda's new 2 liter powerplant is nicer than the Ecotec, but to say that the Ecotec is less reliable is a falsehood. GM's newer engine designs are excellent, and it can take 300hp (turbo or supercharged, see Ion Redline or Cobalt SS, same mill) on stock internals without blinking. It's also easier to tune the stock suspension on the Solstice/Sky than the new Miata. The January or Feburary issue of Grassroots Motorsports tests a properly set up NB Miata, the Solstice and the new NC Miata. The Solstice was easier to get more camber and castor from. But yeah, for a DD, NC Miata.
