And would Ani really kill Padme? I don't think so, not with the whole mushy love story we all had to sit through during EPII, surely they won't let that be in vain...I didn't gag for 2 or so hours over tenseing love scenes for nothing, did I?

They all end with brilliant, sweeping, musical sequence type things...
Vader "sabering some Jedi" doesn't exactly fit the scheme.
Admittedly, neither does mine.
So we're probably both wrong.
It will probably end with a jubilant rendition of the original Imperial March or something, with camera spanning across the Imperial fleet. I know, it seems weird. They've all ended focused on the stories heroes and are happy cheery endings. But the only ending I can really see with Ep III HAS to be something dark, something Imperial.

It may have been "sad", but it still focused on our main characters with a "glimmer of hope" in their eyes, and then spanned over the "good guy" fleet.

Ep 3 could do what Ep2 did and have two seperate things in the ending, ie the new Republic army massing and Anakin and Padme's marriage.
Ep3 could have vader slicing up some Jedi or something, played alongside the remains of the republic floating off into space, the seeds of the rebellion.
Or something to the jist of that.
