It doesn't really matter because they both coincide. If you are unlucky, you aren't going to live long. If you are lucky, you probably will live long.

My latest work... I've been told the horse on the right looks unfinished compared to the horse on the left and I'm still trying to decide what to do to change that... By the way, it's a scroll blank. When someone get's an award in the SCA, their presented a scroll as well. I'm not very good at calligraphy, I can draw it but not write it, which takes far longer, so I'll probably give this to someone else to do any writing on it.

what kind of paint are you using?

been awhile since I've posted in this thread but I just haven't been taking pictures of any projects. Mostly jewelry but today I spent awhile making Christmas cards. My Pern book club does a card exchange this time of year and we like to have a rule that at least part of it, if your physically able, be home made. I didn't go all out this year and make the complete card, I just added graphics to the inside of a regular Christmas card, but since I'm sending them away and will never see them again, I took pictures.

Took a graphic I had of a little dragon, added a Santa hat and wording, printed it out then colored it to suit each person. Added some color on the background inside the card, some sparkly paint pen work, glued the little dragons down and boom! personal touch homemade Christmas cards.
