But what you people have to realize is what exactly Halo 2 is doing for the gaming community. I remember a time when gamers were made fun of and even beaten up for being such, well, geeks, because geeks were the only people who would actually bother to shell out the money for a computer worth a damn in the gaming world, but now the lines are blurring. Gamers are accepted, even celebrated, in the teen society, and for the first time adult gamers aren't being laughed at for having such a pathetic hobby. Sure, to us Halo 2 is no big deal. We've seen it all before. But most people haven't, and to them Halo 2 is an amazing experience. Even to true, oldbie gamers, its a pretty decent game. Thats why Halo 2 is something so big, thats why the Bungie team are geniuses. For the first time, they've actually created a game respected by both sides of the line.
