on the weather channel I saw this guy trying to get a multi mullion dollar yacht secured to a dock. The yacht was bucking so hard that it snapped off one of the dock posts. After like a hour the guy managed to get the yacht secured to the dock, but when he returns to it after the storm, he'll just find that it was beaten all to hell. Boats like that are better off if you take them out to sea *before* the storm arrives.... otherwise they'll just get beaten against the dock to death.Assuming you want to try and fight the hurricane on the open ocean... boats survive the best on anchor. If you know how to anchor them, that is.
