Oh, and as an aside, Itala is no newb. He's been around way, way longer then you. In fact, he was leader of the largest or possibly second largest, behind ERO, group at TGC. He split over and became a highly successful board owner in his own right. I suspect that if TMC had split away from TGC and promptly died, it would have taken a lot more meddling by Ceel to get OS to snap. Breaking away from such a large board is a risk, and it has been done before. Twice, it worked, and Itala's TMC was the first time a groupsplit off from TGC and survived. In fact, it thrived as it's own board, more and more becoming less and less like a group board and more like a full-fledged roleplaying board, with cafe, three active RP forums, several active OOC's , and even an offshoot roleplaying forum set during World War Two.
