Kamon went through the vows rather quickly. He had expected them to take longer but it went by so fast he didn't know.

The rings were brought forward and the two exchanged them. Kamon turned back to Gash as he offered the lightsabers. Kamon took his and mouthed his thanks.

When they were done, and Gash said the words Kamon had been waiting to here, Kamon turned to Kate. He lifted her veil and pulled her close to him. He then kissed her deeply.

Kate's dad took a spot next to Anara as the vows were done. Kate was a bit suprised as to how quickly they went. The rings were exchanged and Kate grinned rougishly as Kamon slipped her veil up. There, the two kissed each other deeply and for a split moment, the wars which raged in the galaxy seemed not to matter, for just a few moments, all seemed at peace and for Kamon and Kate, Heaven was no longer a myth, Heaven was the reality the two would live forever in their hearts.

They finished kissing and they turned. The crowd stood and applauded. Kamon and Kate ignored them. The two ran down the aisle and out to a waiting speeder that would take them for a ride. They got in and were off.

"That was fast."

Kate smirked and laughed," Yeah it was...wow, I've gotta tell you, that was a shocker... I can't believe the old @#%$ showed up..."

Kamon shrugged.

"I invited him with the intention of getting him to come. It wouldn't be good to miss your own daughters wedding."

They pulled up to the recession building and stopped. Kamon got out first and offered Kate his hand as she got out. They walked up to the door.

"When we get finished here I have something for you."

Wayward Jedi Knight
Hearing people arrive, Kenshin turned to see Kamon and Kate walk through the door. He strolled up to them and offered the newly wed pair a bright smile.

"Hey. How's everything going so far?"

Now that the ceremony was over Kenshin was a less nervous, assuming that the hardest part was done.

Kate smiled," I think we'll be doing good when I can duck out of public view and get into something a little more...me." she said.

Kamon smiled at her.

"A dress isn't you, but it sure looks good on you."

As Kenshin came up, Kamon smiled at him and grasped his hand.

"Everything is fine my friend. How about on your end?"

Metropolis smiled for the first time in years. He was tired of being sad or irritated all the time, and, of course, there was the sudden, but happy return of his lost love, Megan Kalinsky. The one he thought was dead. Rusty headed into his ship, a resurrected and modified version of the old "Defender" YT-1300. He smiled as he thought of Megan, sitting in the co-pilots' seat. She couldn't fly, but she came with him, because he wasn't about to leave her alone yet again. While he didn't agree with the only man he really trusted getting married, he no longer cared. He had fell for Toran, but when she rejected him and Megan returned, he had forgotten she existed. He wasn't proud of it, but for the first time since he was 12, Rusty smiled because he was happy, not because he was hiding his true feelings. He smiled at Megan, and put a hand on her shoulder as the ship hopped to hyperspace.

"He'll be ok. I bet he's a wreck, but he'll be fine."

Megan smiled as Rusty touched her. He was slowly turning out to still be the man she once loved. And when he looked at her, he had a small hint of the look he had given her as a boy. He loved her, even though love was "forbidden" as he claimed, he didn't care, and she knew it. Even though he wouldn't admit it. She didn't care for the fact that they were only friends, and she didn't care that he was a Jedi. She knew the risks when she had stayed back on Coruscant all those years ago. And the shock when she realized he indeed was Rusty Metropolis of Tattooine, and not "John Kamon".

"Kamon? Oh yea...I remember him...and I remember over-hearing things about this Katie...never had the chance to meet her though."

She noticed Rusty's look when she said that, and she smiled.

"Oh, come on...22 years old and you still act like such a child at times! But at least you're understanding and sweet...even if you are immature."

She smiled and walked off into the lounge. Rusty was indeed quite a guy. She had heard stories of him while on Coruscant, hiding from the Sith that hunted Rusty. She had heard that he had indeed reached the Jedi Temple, had found a Master, and was an incredible hero. That's what she had heard anyway. And even if he didn't admit it, she believed it. She was happy for Kamon, too, and she wondered if he'd be shocked to see her at his wedding. She didn't think her and Rusty were invited. Then again, as the stories always said, Metropolis didn't need an invitation.
