I often wonder how you do it, Irtar.
How do you take it when people just pop in and want ranks because of blank-blank-blanky-blanky or because so-and-so-this-and-that while you get the honor of being the stuck at Apprentice for the longest of any member and while your writing (though rare these days) is about a million times better then some of the so-called Masters and Knights (ahem) who have come and gone over the years?

Is it because you suck?

STUCK AT APPRENTICE MY ASS. I have tried to FORCE him to accept a promotion more than once over many years and he has always refused. I swear I am going to kill him...

I was supposed to promote him during BEA.

That sort of didn't work. >_>

I am still considering my opinion of your rank, Jade. So far, from the past threads I have seen concerning your previous requests, and even some of your more recent comments in this thread, I can say I am not... 'positive'.

Also, explain to me this 'Vampyre Sith Knight, Empress/Goddess' thing?

Good to hear.

I don't enjoy demon-like characters who happen to also be vampires.

Welcome back to TRF, we are eager to see what you bring to the table!


Since you have been gone for so long and most are unfamiliar with your character, the Force Council is asking that you complete an introductory RP in the Battlegrounds. This RP will serve not only to re-introduce yourself to the community, but will also be reviewed by the Force Council to decide your Force rank upon it's completion.Until that time, your "official" rank is the default rank of Apprentice.


Please do not let this upset or deter you, we would simply like the chance to observe your character and RP style before we make any final decisions on your rank. There are many reasons for this; At TRF, power and respect are gained through persistent hard work and character development. Force ranks are a reflection of this. Members who transfer Force ranks from other communities quickly learn that their transferred rank is not respected if they can't live up to TRF's expectations of that rank.


Arbitrarily approving the rank of Knight with so little RP content to go on would probably do you more harm than good. The rank doesn't make the person!!! We know this well from past experience, hence the existence of the Force Council...


In my 11 years of experience handling Force related matters and ranking, I can assure you there is nothing here that you can't do in a transfer RP at Apprentice level that you can do at Knight level. Force ranks should not be restrictions, they are just a part of the story... within reason. If you feel that your official status as an Apprentice somehow restricts your freedom to write something, please feel free to bring it to our attention and possible allowances can be arranged.
