Meanwhile on the Bridge of the Goliath

 "It would seem we have some unwelcome visitors, deal with them now Captain.

 "Sir, in a system protected by the Rogue Jedi, destroying these ships will only attract more unwanted attention, I would not advise,"

 "Captain Mangar, I never hired you for advice, I am paying you to follow my orders! Is that Clear?! Snapped the Hutt.

 "Crystal, Sir!"

 "Sir" an officer called out, "Three of our Howlrunners are returning from the atmosphere of Yavin, shall I drop sheilds and allow them to dock?"

 Captain Dengro glanced at the officer, then at the Hutt then back.

 "No."

 "But sir we can't just leave them, "

 " I said No " Yelled Dengro, pulling out his blaster and pointing it at the young officer.

 " I said no and I mean it! Now is that clear!?"

 The man simly nodded a reply.

 " We can't afford opening the sheilds. Target the three remaining ships and fire when within range and then prepare for a hyperspace jump.

They deaths will be, noted.

Looking over the steel cargo pods where he had been hiding, Ren peered out onto the hanger bay floor. He could see beyond the force feilds that three fighters were preparing to dock. Suddenly a pair of turbolaser stations at either side of the hanger entrance began to rotate in the direction of the incoming ships.

 "What the . . ."

 But before he could finish, the guns let out a ferocious barrage of laser fire,tearing the ships hulls into fragmented metal.

Ren slumped back when the images of the pilot's deaths seared through his mind like a red hot blade.

Then, the ship began to hum, the image of yavin and the stars surrounding it began to move past, and blur into obscurity.
They had Jumped into hyperspace.

Send a reply to the captain of the Y-4, we will give support fire. Rotate our ship so that the enemy cruser is between us and the planet. I just remembered that the lost ships that started this were close to the planet. Weapons master, prepare to open highly concentrated fire on their close shields. We'll breach a small hole in no time, but will not be able to hold it for longer than 30 seconds, tell the Y-4 commander that that is all he has to get through.

A chorus of "Yes Commander" issued.

Sir, The three fighters in the tractor beam have been destroyed by their own ship

Kas sat still for a moment. That ment that the enemy will fight to the end. It also could mean that they were preparing to leave.

Lock all tractor beams on the cruser, use power from the hyperdrive if needed, KEEP THEM HERE. Weapons, designate the engines as the targets for the proton missiles on our second round of fire

Ok boys, now or never. Open fire, and transmit OK to the Y-4 commander

Laser blasts cut suddenly cut through space. There was no warning, and the enemy cruser was caught totaly by supprise. The Y-4 began to jocky for posision.

Sir, your R-2 has been picking up some transmissions from close to the planet, maybe you should look at these......

OOC: one of you check out "In the Simulator" and take command of the enemy forces. Pretty please...

The communication channels filled with sound, the jamming commencing as the pilot made his opening run...

"I think its time we blow this scene....
Get everybody and the stuff together...
Okay, 3,2,1 let's jam..."

The ship vented its atmosphere as it closed, the hatches opening as the pilot borught the ship rwithin five meters of the enemy hull. Magnetic grapples were launched, and the ships were pulling closer together. The first breaching team, the oens equipped with thruster packs, made their jumps across, peperring the hull with their charges as tehy moved further up. The charges clamped down, detonating almost immediately...hull breeches were appearing in the sector they had hit as they fanned out, five went aft, the other five went fore.

Using the openings in the hull as breech points, the second breeching team enterd the hull of the enemy ship, 3 destroyer droids leading the first group of ten marines. They entered the hull, securing the location, laying down suppresive fire as soon as something stuck its head out. These men weren't using standard blasters, they had solid slug projectile weapons.

the team working aft started planting charges along the primary engine core shaft, preparing to cut all power to the engines...

Meanwhile at the bridge....

the navigator was paying attention to his station, eyes down, plotting the navigation...He heard the tapping sound, looking up, trying to tune out the yelling around him. he saw the armored form, setting the charge directly against the viewing port. he gave the navigator a single fingered salute as he pulled back out of the way of the detonation......

(OOC: Sheridan, aren't you rushing things just a bit, We haven't had the chance to have a battle and you suddenly just boarded me out of nowhere, without getting my sheilds down or anthing. Anyway I've jumped into hyperspace, so chase the ship. I was going to jump to another system and then we would continue the battle.)

OOC: Umm kiddo, you haven't acknowledged either fighter squadron that has been on you for a while, or the fact that a big hapan ship is between you and the way out. As for your shields, star wars shields are energy based, they don't do anything against matter projectiles or objects. I can shoot slugthrowers at your ship all day and go right through your energy shields. THat's why proton torpedos had to be used on the death star, the shields wouldn't stop it. your hyperdrive would have been disabled in the opening volley from the Nova. so i think you are pretty much stuck insystem....the battle is here kiddo. Yoou have my ship, the squadrons aboard the Nova and the Nova itself to deal with. Have a nice day.))

(OOC: That's all well and good about the sheilds, but your just jumping the proverbial gun a little.Plus I'd just jumped into hyperspace before you boarded me. Anyway I'll have to forget that now. )

 "Master Golgan, we are taking heavy damage from a Y4 transport, it is heavily armed and is passing through our sheilds. We have hull breaches on decks six and seven.We've lost engines. Sir, We're being boarded."

Meanwhile in the Hanger bay . . .

Out of the docking port, Ren could now see several fighter squadrons, a Y4 'Raptor' and A Hapan Battle cruiser all making their advance on the Goliath.Ren thought it was now or never. Picking up his comlink to Corran, Ren radioed his fellow Jedi.

" Hey Corran, buddy. I have a bad feeling that this place is going be swarming with activity in a minute or two, we need to get out andd we need to now!"

On the Bridge . . .

 Master, we can't sustain this kind of damage any longer, we may have to consider abandoning ship. Said Captain Dengro reluctantly.

" What, evacute?! I knew when I hired you that you would crumble at the sight of a little danger. Most of you bounty Hunters are the same, you appear tough on the outside, but you are as weak as Ewoks underneath."

 "Weak!?"
 Shouted the Captain, subtly so his loyal crew would hear.

 "So you think us Bounty Hunters are weak? Well lets see how you handle a Hapan capital ship and a few hundred soldiers, shall we you fat repulsive excuse for a crimelord!"

 With that said, Dengro took his men and walked off the Bridge to the the Hanger bay. The Captain then heard a transmission coming through on his com, It was Janggar!

"That blasted Jedi thinks he's going to get away. Well he is gravely mistaken."

 Taking two of finest men, Dengro Mangar made his way to the Hanger.

"Now!" Yelled Ren. Drawing his lightsaber he lept up from behind the Cargo pods and lunged at the squads of soldiers with his saber. Choppng them down like Wheat, Ren cleaved through Mangar's troops.

In the Background Corran's droid, Q9 trundled across the Hanger floor with an Unconciuos Klango Jabroo in tow towards one of the shuttles.

With one push and a swipe of his saber, Ren dispatched the last of the weequay guards.However, Ren failed to notice a samll turbolift descend into the bay as he walked towards the Shuttle.

The door swooshed open, and a very irate Dengro Mangar stepped out and Ignited his lightsaber.

 "Janggar!!!!!!" Shouted the captain as he darted towards Ren, saber held aloft.

Ren drew his lightsaber just in time to block an incoming blow from Mangar's sword.

 "You will not escape!!! You scum, you've cost me my prescious ship!!! For that you'll pay!!!"

Dengro continued forward with a series of fuious swipes to the midsection, sending Ren staggering back.

Getting his balance, ren began to counter with a sequence of downward strikes to Dengro's saber, the force of which knocked him off balance.

The Captain, sneekily drew a hidden blaster from inside his cloak and fired at Ren, sending him diving for cover behind some cargo pods.

Reaching out with the force Ren threw the pods into the air into Dengro's direction then followed up by charging in with his lightsaber. Another series of swipes sent Dengro back and the last cleaving his lightsaber in two!

"Give it up!" Said Ren, holding the tip of his glowing Red saber at the throat of the Captain.

Ren then lifted his sword and said to the Captain, " This battle is finished, leave and never come back here, or I will destroy you.

 Realising his impending destruction the Captain got up and walked back to the turbolift.

 "Get them!!!!" Shouted Dengro as his two armoured Guards emerged from the turbolift with Guns blazing.

Ren deflected most of the blaster bolts before making a break for the shuttle, but just as he reached the front of the ship, it hummed to life.

The shuttle then took off, swivelled around and opened fire onto the soldiers near the turbolift. A familiar figure was in the cockpit, Klango!

 "We'sa going home!!!!!"

 The personel ramp opened as Ren dived in. He shouted towards Klango. " Punch it!!!!!"

 The shuttle pivoted on its axis and let bay sheilding have it. The sheild collapsed and The shuttle zoomed out of the bay,with Corran's X-wing in close second.

OOC: A y-4 has a double laser cannon, also known as a pop gun, by the way, your comm channels are being jammed with really loud, really good jazz music....))

The Y-4 puilled its magnetic grapples further and further until it was resting on the hull of the larger ship. THe charge on the front window of the bridge detonated, blasting inward, opening the bridge to the cold chill of the void. After everything had been sucked out into space that wasn't nailed down, the five men entered, weapons at the ready. The first pulse went off as the magna lights went off, sending a blinding flash of light into the bridge. They were inside right after that, pistols blazing away at anything that moved.

The team workingg its way aft detonated their charges, having planted them along the central power line, life support as well as main power were down. The modular nature of the Loronar had made it very simple to disable both systems with the single set of charges. Aftert the aft team hasd cut power, they started wotking their way towards the escape pods, setting charges on them as well. Escape pods were detonated quickly, ensuring that anyone evacuating would have a very hard time doing so....

The destroyer droids were storming through corridors, lighting up anything that wasn't boradcasting as friendly was hit with a haiil of blaster of fire. The veteran team came up, the white armored form leading them. He directed traffic wordlessly, his soldiers acting in complete harmony.

John had boarded enemy ships hundreds of times, and knew the probable spots for booby traps, the places the three hundred and forty soldiers aboard a Loranar would set up their hard points. THe corridors were littered with bodies and discarded ammo casings as they moved on, Sweeping the central decks clear, working their way outward. Destroyer droids were making their entry from the Y-4 as well, reinforcing hardpoints and raising all kinds of hell as the moved.

OOC: I guess the hyperspace thing was my fault. I sorta missed the part about you going into hyper space.

IC:

Prepare second volley, take out the hyperdrive. SITHSPIT. nav, did you get their vector. PLOT IT FOOL.

Kas turned to the gunner

This time, take out the Hyperdrive. The modular form of the Lorinar should help you out a bit on that. I want them dead in space.

The Free Wind snapped back into realspace after it's short microjump

Sir, a shuttle and an X-wing have just launched themselvs from the enemy ship. They seem to be together. Scanners are also picking up explosions all over the ship. It looks like she has some viruses in her gut.

Pick up the shuttle and X-wing, and gunner, take out the hyperdrive.

Kas turned, and almost in an after thought said...

Oh yes, communications, trace those transmissions you commented on earlier, and contact the owner of that Y-4, I think we might want to keep that Cruser around. Might be somthing good in the memorybanks.

The jamming let up just long enough to let this message slide through....

"Reaper Group, this is reaper leader, assisstance would be useful." 15 more Y-4s jumped in, moving to support the shi9p latched onto the hull of the Loronar. Troops were ejecting into space, using thruster units to move about until the entire ship was being swarmed. Two of the Y-4s moved to escort the shuttle and the fighter that had launched from the hangar bays before main power was cut.

"Crew of this vessel. This is the Grim Reaper calling, i suggest that unless you want to feel my embrace, you move to your quarters, lock yourselves in, and start praying..." The vox system carried the message all the way through the ship, the noise vibrating through the corridors. The destoryer droids were carrying out their assigned task, sweeping enemy soldiers from the path...

The Goliath lay motionless, crippled in space. Fires raging over it's exterior hull.

Emergency forcefeilds had been erected around the bridge by Golgan the Hutt. Critically Injured, he set the ship for self destruct.

 "One minute and counting until total self destruct is complete." Called out a computer voice.

Golgan slumped in his chair, he had failed.

Distracted by the explosions and the escape of Ren Janggar and Corran Horn from the Goliath's shuttle bay, the surrounding ships failed to notice Captain Dengro's personel shuttle blasting out from a secret hanger bay on the other side of the Goliath.The ship blasted into hyperspace.

Ren felt Dengro's presence leave,at first he suspected he was killed in an explosion on the ship, but this was different, he was alive.
