"The Yuuzhan Vong just destroyed a Corellian Gunship"

Joren sighed and sat back.

"Helm?"

"Still working on it sir"

Joren nodded and turned to Greetou, his Kubaz Tactical Command Officer.

"Commander, give me a status report"

The Kubaz replied in Basic.

"With the exception of that Heavy cruiser, the Vong are still holding their own against us"

"Damn. Alright. Tell all weapons and ships to keep it up"

"Yes sir"

Suddenly the comm on Joren's chair crackled.

"Admiral, this is Keldor at Superlaser Control. We are ready to fire. Awaiting your command"

Joren instantly turned to the helm.

"Commander?"

"Almost ready sir, the Vong have increased their fire on us, and it is making it harder to manuver"

"Understood. Notify me when ready"

Greetou spoke from his right.

"Sir, the fighters are getting pounded, they are requesting backup"

"Order the Gunships and M-40s to move up and begin their attacks on the Coral and Rimskippers"

"Sir, we are in position" The helmsman said.

Joren smiled slightly and went back to his chair and grabbed the comm.

"Superlaser Control, target the Grand Cruiser and fire at my command"

"Yes sir!"

Joren smiles again.

"Turbolasers, on my mark, do the same thing you did with that Heavy Cruiser"

Greetou nodded and signaled that they were all ready.

"Fire"

And again, space was lit up with hundreds of green streaks. They all hit the Grand Cruiser again, all in one place. Then the superlaser, the biggest of them all, lanced out.


But the Yuuzhan Vong were good shipbuilders as well as troublemakers. Joren stared in a mixture of anger, annoyance, and shock as the superlaser hit and blew out huge chunks of yorik coral, but the whole ship itself remained intact.

The Superlaser's target was the central plexus of dovin basals located near the rear of the ship. Most of the basals were destroyed, and the ship lost most of its ability to move, as well as protect itself.

"All turbolasers, target the dovin basal plexus and fire at will. Superlaser Control, charge up and prepare to fire again"

The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Supreme Might<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> has not been destroyed.

Nor are any of its weapons. The dovin basal plexus does not have any weapons on it, so none of the ship's plasma cannons have been disabled. But the ship has lost its ability to move and most of its ability to protect itself. Note, it can still create black holes to protect itself, just not as many as it could before.

ooc:chadd shut up. You were spending your time complaining instead of writing a post. I am forced to agree with Jump. Plus Arden just let you win you the grand cruiser argument. Btw, i was away at a camp for the last while, that is why my exucution thread stopped.

OOC:Hey!! Guess what Chadd just informed me?
We still do not have turbolasers back.
And we are not allowed to attack with the ESD. When the treaty was made Chadd said I could only use it for defense.
He sees it as a violation of the treaty, and if we don't correct ourselves, he will see us as an enemy of TRE.

I said it before, I have been away, I cannot devote my time to responses. Qualms? Tough. I respected you OOC, you can return the favor.

Actually I do care, because the turbolasers were not on when they were constructed. You cannot use them now and if you do so (seeing as word has now gotten back to TRE) we will have to close down your military.
