Leia watched in utter detachment as the Sith Apprentice's body suddenly went limp, and he collapsed to the floor. The holocron which he had been holding fell from his hand, and bounced away across the floor.
But Leia's attention was momentarily directed elsewhere. A Force presence; the strong, reassuring and warm presence that Leia knew as Amalia, had suddenly been silenced. The presence was not
gone, it was simply... quiet. This had grabbed Leia's attention, to the extent that she momentarily paid no heed to the unconscious Sith on the holocron library floor.
Leia had felt trouble emanating through her connection with Amalia through the Force earlier, had felt her turn towards the Dark. She had caught hints of Amalia's emotions, and feelings, her troubles. But she had been too busy dealing with Han and the Sith invasion then to put much thought or attention into what she had felt, and had been faced with no other choice than to sort it out later. And she realized now, that she had more pressing issues (the invasion, for one) to deal with at the moment still...
But she would find out what was going on with Amalia soon enough.
In the meantime, she looked down at the unconscious Perrin contemplatively. Something had to be done with him...
She spotted a roll of silver space tape nearby on the floor, next to a box of assorted tools near a computer terminal. Apparently a technician who had been trying to repair the terminal had left the toolbox there earlier. She did recall a maintanence order having come through her offices for a broken terminal down here. But that did not matter now, anyways.
With a grin, she walked over to the terminal and seized the roll of tape, and then strode back over to Perrin. Yes, there would be plenty enough tape on the roll for what she intended to do...
First she searched him for weapons, and confiscated everything in his pockets. Then she bound his hands behind his back, as well as his feet. She also slapped a piece of tape over his mouth as well, for good measure.
For a moment she surveyed her handiwork, and decided that it would not be enough to restrain the Sith. So starting from his feet up, she completely mummified Perrin in a tight wrapping of silver space tape, using the entire roll in the process. It took her a good fifteen minutes, but when she had completed her task the only part of Perrin not encapsulated in a thick, impenetrable layer of the quite durable tape was his head. And at that, his mouth was taped shut.
Leia smiled in satisfaction and with a wave of her hand, Perrin levitated into the air. With so much tape allowing him no movement whatsoever, the apprentice would have been too awkward a burden for Leia to physically carry anywhere. So she had chosen to levitate him, an easy enough task.
With that, Leia jogged out of the Jedi holocron library, the unconscious Sith floating after her. She punched a security override into the door before she left, and once again it's heavy reinforced blast doors slid securely shut. Now it would not open again for anyone save Leia herself.
Her duties in the Academy now fulfilled, Leia took off at a fast paced run out of the Academy and back into the heart of the battle, her captive Sith Apprentice floating after her not too far behind.
