Minutes passed before Zeta found himself among the living again.
He could not remember what had happened after completing the spell, the darkness falling onto.
He awoke to find Han still on the floor, in a deep sleep. He looked just as lifeless as before.
It would take some time for Han to recover from the ordeal, Zeta was sure of it.
"You have been sleeping for far too long today, Skywalker. Rest now, I will see to it that you will have your revenge. Another will sleep as well..."
Yes, another would sleep, he would make sure of it. All he had to do was get to Naboo, and then all would be as it should be.
Just as before, Zeta picked Han up, this time taking Han's body into his arms so as not to disturb Skywalker's restful sleep.
Han felt rather heavy in his arms, his breathing slow, almost not visible. If Zeta could not have felt his living force presence, he would have thought the Knight dead.
Slowly he walked out of the temple, tempted to cause some destruction to the temple, he would of had he not had something better to do.
"Hmm, seems as if I've kept my word, Jiren," he said to himself.
I'll be back for you...
He would make a return trip someday, if only to finish what was started that day so long ago...
He knew Jiren had already set foot on Naboo, a perfect time for the Zabrak to go after his foe, but it all came back to other things of greater importance to the Zabrak.
He would work on destroying Gash Jiren another day, he was sure it would be a great challenge for himself, he would have it no other way.
As Zeta settled Han and himself into his ship, the Zabrak's mind began to settle onto someone else....
...Onto the woman he had seen no more than a few hours ago.
"A life for a life...."
He laughed lightly to himself as the ship settled into space once more, heading off for Naboo...
*****************
Some time later...
Theed, Naboo...
"I know you can hear me, Skywalker, so listen carefully. It would be wise of you to not leave this ship under any circumstances unless danger arises and you must find your way out. You must rest so that you may replenish your energy. I will see to it that everything is taken care of..."
The Zabrak doubted that Skywalker would take heed to his words, but if he valued his life, he would. He would not make a second attempt at saving Skywalker again.
As for Zeta, he had plans to see Amalia Azalin...
Zeta exited the ship, scanning the area before him. He'd landed just near the edge of the forest so there wasn't much to see, at least not yet anyway.
Where are we, my dear...
A sinister smile crept onto the Zabrak's lips.
Wait, don't tell me....You always did love to hide, Amalia...
So long ago it had been since they had played this game. She was so much younger back then on Bakura.
For all the effort it took Amalia to hide and run from her troubles, Zeta always successfully found her. She'd meant nothing then though, and he had conveyed no harm onto her then. No, she'd been nothing but a hopeful darksider to him then.
Now he had it on his mind to kill her, he would not fail...
The Zabrak's eyes darted to the forest, he grinned slightly.
This game of hide and go seek will be over shortly, and then you will die...
The grin on his face faded away as he rushed forth into the forest, heading into the deeper areas of the forest where he was sure to find Amalia....
