And due to the fact Padme is a slave, she was likely forced into sex and doesn't want to admit it. It's a dark world kiddies. She's not about to admit that she does that in front of her son with a couple of Jedi there.

But that's just me.

EDIT: I meant Anakin's mom, you know... Blah. I never cared for the 'new trilogy' crap. It fucked with all the stuff and ruined the magic of the old trilogy if you actually take it into account.
