The Rebel Faction

"I doubt a team of bounty hunters would come into a place of this sort" said Wanderer as they both entered the elevator and exited on the second foor in which they located their room.

Perhaps the pair were not followed by the bounty hunters and perhaps those same hunters would not be likely to enter the inn, but even on Kessel a wounded man being helped along by a woman with a blaster drawn is bound to attract some attention.

Attention's name is Darian today and he is a rather seedy looking individual. While Darian did not see the short blaster battle that wounded the cloaked figure, he did see the two somewhere in route to their current location. He saw them enter the Inn and waited outside for a couple of minutes before entering himself, then waited until the lift's doors closed before he approached the clerk at the front desk.

Borrowing a piece of flimsi and something to write with from the clerk, he jotted down a note that was short and to the point. He folded the note so that the clerk would not read it and handed it to him with a few credits. He said only, "In ten minutes, deliver this to the two you just rented a room to."

Darian then turned and walked out. Whether the clerk will actually do what he asked, he doesn't know. If he does, though, the two will receive the following message...

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp "I saw you and I know who attacked you. I can either help you or I can not help you. One of you will meet me in the Cafe Rial in 1 hour and we can discuss which it will be."

A being of average height and build for a human enters the fairly crowded cafe. He is dressed in a grey hooded robe with the hood up and pulled forward to shade his face. The robe is open to reveal black pants and a tunic that falls to just above his knees with a grey belt to hold everything in place. He also wears grey gloves and boots and what appears to be a scarf that covers most of his face, making it difficult to determine much about this being other than that he is humanoid and obviously wants his features to remain hidden. The only visible weapon is a standard blaster hanging off his left hip, but chances are he has other weapons secreted away someplace on him.

He stops a few steps into the place and looks around until he spots the man he's looking for. Before he approaches the table, though, he search the place one more time as if looking for someone else. He seems to be satisified that the place is safe and approaches the table at a leisurely pace. He sits down without being invited and begins speaking in a low tone.

"I see that you got my message. I've noticed that you and your friend seem to be in a bit of trouble here on this rock. Being the friendly, good samaritan type of fellow that I am, I thought I would offer my assistance. I'm a bit surprised that it is you and not the lady who has come to see me." He glances down at where the wanderer was wounded.

Darian chuckles as he turns his hands upward and moves them outward from his body. "I can assure you, I am no bounty hunter. What I am most looking for is a way off of this rock. If I can do it by partnering with your lady, then that is what I'll do."
