Ergo why I don't trust bible legends. Jesus' name wasn't even Jesus. I can't remember how it was spelt, but it was pronounced Ya-Zeus. And this is according to Roman Records and anceint editions of the New Testament.

Remember, it's been 4000 years so stories change. And if people wonder why I know these things, it is simple. I'm trying to find out my own faith and such. Basically, I'm trying to find out the true root of Christianity before it's become the corrupted, divided thing it is.

Irtar, you just pronounced phonetically something that was closer to the spanish Jesus instead of Yeshua, which is what I think you were aiming for... Jesus is a mistranslation of an old Greek text which was actually incorrect in the first place...

Ok, so the bible has some inaccuraces, it's a hell of a tactics refferance. I was watch "Bible Battles" or something like that last night and it said in WWII a Brittish general or captian used a hidden valley only spoken of in the book of Saul to defeat his opponent. He actually used the same tactic.

I say, "What the heck, use the bible for war strategies."

Oh, and so what. People didn't see the Jews who left Egypt, the desert is huge. And we do hve proof of an "exodist." On the side of Mt. Sinina or some other mountian, there were traces of encampments that were dated back to the exodist time line. (sorry for spelling) And, Kach, there are Hiroglyphics(is that spelled right?) that Egyptologist still don't fully understand. To tell you the truth, most of our history is inaccurate. This is because whomever is in power gets to write the history books.

If you are referring to Mt. Sinai, people aren't even sure where it is, much less found encampments on it.

There are like, thousands of mountians in the Middle East. No wonder it isn't easy to find a particular one. But for some reason there is like a cut-off switch where we know what happened 100% and have the evidence to support it, and all the rest of history which is what we are uncovering now. I'm thinking some great event cut us off from our history. And given the approximate time of when it happened, I think the Black Death Epidemic in Europe is the most likely cause of this occuring, as it would have killed many leaders and historians of that time period.

Well, religious morons (Christians, of course) burnt down the library at Alexandria. I think that was probably the biggest blow to history.

Then it must not exist.
