Personally, I'm not all for the 'Getting cheap, sexual thrills through video games.' My games are for games. My porn is for porn. I like to keep my worlds seperate.

Yes. As I said, X-2 is an aboration of the FF series and is best left forgotten. Just like the Legend of Zelda game for Sega CD (those whom don't know of this, your life is that much better).

X-2 should die. Yes, die a horrible, horrible death.
I played/bought Fahrenheit last week, and I have to say it started out strong... but then became just a weird mass of magical, alien crossbred horror show shit.
Basically you play the part of four characters, ranging from the guy who committed a murder, his Priest brother, a female Detective and her partner.
The developers say that you have unlimited options in how you work through a scene... yet... from what I saw, it's either you do it completely right, or completely wrong. There's no other options.
Since when you complete the scene as the murderer, the Detectives you play investigating said scene end up finding everything, anyway. Since, well, you know what you did as the murderer...
Oh, and they have a 'point the thumbsticks in this sequence' sequence, which tends to play during 'intense action moments'; but really all it does is make you watch the icons, while everything happens in the background and you end up missing what's actually happening unless you change a glance at the cost of missing a joystick point.
That is amusing more so during the sex scenes you get to 'joystick direct' through, and censorship will probably change their minds about it (at least in Australia) in a few weeks, and remove the game from the shelves for inappropriate material; despite their allowing it to begin with. Asses.
The story was interesting, until it just got plain weird and X-Fileish.

Back with a Vengeance
For a second I thought you were talking about the new game X2: Rise of Apocalypse. That should be a fun game.

Oh, no. I'm looking forward to X-men 2.

Resident Evil 4 for PS2 looks very promising, despite the lack of zombies and those damn tyrant bosses. Then again, maybe that's a plus.
Keep an eye out for Starcraft Ghost. Pleasant something, people.

Oh, yeah. Baldur's gate is like a cheaper version of Norrath. Still, it's kinda addicting, like Dark Forces after playing Halo too much.

Starcraft Ghost... pfft. I heard that it's been delayed *gaspshockhorror* again, and meant to be coming out on the 360.

Those bitches at Blizzard only prolong the release date to;
1) Make more money off of World of Warcraft
2) Develop a better fan following in previews and demos
3) Release at a holiday season
4) Wait till all the original teenage fans are in their thirties for a midlife crisis game. :dead

Fuck StarCraft Ghost. World of Warcraft needs to be revamped more than a bit.

It's to the point where someone said something about SC Ghost, and I was all: "...yeah, so?"
I think mostly everyone's like that now. Stupid developers.
