I think it still should be done, it's a good idea. The TRF timeline tends to reflect the history of the 'new TRF' much more so than the 'old TRF'. Many once prominent groups and highly respected members have already fallen to the wayside. Who remembers Darth Snack, Mace McClain or Saace Falyk? And Damalis wasn't always bouncing boobies...
