Kas already essentially said that yes, upgrades were outlawed, but that rule wasn't retroactive. Meaning that previous R&D upgrades (i.e. Elite, TNO's Anti-Intrusion System, etc.) aren't effected.

More importantly, why do you care?

Becuase Im an R&D Mod and this is an area in which I have say. Not to mention which I am one of the people that enforces the no-upgrade rule, as I have done in previous R&Ds in the past. So get off your 'not your business' stint. I have more right to post this than you do replying to it cuasing a scene.

If this was a problem, the real staff would have dealt with it. Since Kas doesn't seem to care, I'd say it's a non-issue.

I find it hard to believe we would outlaw upgrades for every R&D except one...

It was re-approved because it had been origionally approved prior to the upgrade rule being created.
Like the other R&D rules, the Upgrade rule isn't retroactive. Meaning R&Ds designed as upgrades before the implementation of said rule aren't effected. Meaning the Elite system isn't effected.

If the staff saw a problem with it, they would deal with it, instead of making wise cracks about porn and gnomes.

Get over yourself. Being an R&D Mod doesn't give you God-like powers to press an issue that is a) none of your concern and b) already spoken on.
