The AI is as dumb as paint.

Finally, a game I won't have to throw out a tenth story window...

I've finished the Galactic Civil War Historical Era and in the middle of the Clone Wars Era. Yeah, the AI is pretty stupid. Still, the game is visually entertaining.

Simon, can you crank the AI dificulty any? In BF1942 you can adjust it, as well as how much CPU time is assigned to AI. Though, admittadly, the AI there aint the brightest either, but it's entertaining when there's twenty or so on a team.

I just jumped into the game and the only AI level I really saw was the easy, medium, hard thingy.

I should say that I am playing it on a consol and not a computer so no CPU tweeking.

Total War: Rome I think I will buy for my PC.

Actually, it is not highlighted but the option is there. Multiplayer option is only available for System Link or Xbox Live. Perhaps the "splitscreen" opens up for either of those options. Don't know.. will have to hook it up and see.
