we are in the worst of the storm right now. It has decreased some, with winds down to 90-110 mph, and the storm is in the center of the state. Tons of debris, mainly moderate to small sized branches, are flying around outside, and gusts of winds are occasionally so powerful that the world outside turns gray with rain, and flying stuff. Our back porch screens are ripping apart, and like I say, it's hectic outside, the worst I've ever seen. Other happenings include a lot of roofs being ripped off down south, and mobile homes tipping over like a kid kicking a soda can. A roof ripped off of a school or civic center where 1,500 people were taking shelter, so they got evacuated. Post offices, goverment buildings, and the such are losing their roofs as well.

The worst of the storm has passed us by. The center is now on the I-4 corridor, preparing to pay the theme parks, and such a little visit with 75-90mph winds. The weather here is still rainy, and a little windy, but is improving. Unfortuantley, it is now dark here, so damage reports will have to wait until morning.

Ok, I think the storm has just moved off the East Coast with winds of 85mph. The storm is over warm water and should restrengthen some before it is predicted to hit North Carolina tomorrow morning.
