The firespray set down inside the Interdictor's vast hanger bay.

A small group of officers walked across the vast expanse of black tiling to meet the captain, who, judging by the grin across his face,was quite pleased with himself.


<font color=red>"Mangar!!" <font color=white>Screamed one of the officers in the group <font color=red> "what in the hell do you think you are doing!?

<font color=purple>"Oh whatever do you mean General?"<font color=white> Laughed Dengro.

<font color=red> "You know perfectly well what I mean,half of this sector knows what I mean. You think you can just go around all carefree shooting rockets into spaceports? My master is very displeased with you!"

<font color=purple>"You can tell your 'master', that Janggar is dead, the rocket I sent down there obliterated the estableshment he was in,he is, no more."

<font color=red>"According to my master, he is alive,you failed Mangar!"

<font color=purple>"What!! What do you mean he's alive, surely he had to be dead after,"<font color=white>The General cut him off, <font color=red>"His presence still exists on the surface, and he has stumbled on the project. Janggar needs to be eliminated, now. If you complete this task my master will spare you rotton life."

<font color=purple>"Don't break a sweat, I wont fail you this time"


<font color=red>"I hope for your sake, you are right."


<font color=white> The group of officers shuffled of back across the cargo bay to a waiting turbolift.

<font color=purple>"Damn, force users, I hate them all!"<font color=white>Muttered Mangar as he stormed back into the firespray and headed back to tatooine.

Kas's presence had vanished from all of Ren's mental radar.

Reaching out as far as he could, Ren could not sense his friend's being anywhere, he was gone.


The cavern rocked momentarily, small junks of debris came loose from the ceiling above, laser fire could be heard outside.


Ren instructed Corran to get outside to safety, which he did swiftly and without question, then made one last attempt to reach Kas's spirit, something was blocking his path, pushing against his thought.

Before he could pinpoint the source, a series of green laser flashes seared across over his head, taking off what was left of the roof. Sunlight pierced the thick smoke above which was now billowing out into the hot tatooine afternoon.



Leaping up out from the cavern, Ren exited a split second before the floor gave way, covering the cavern below.

<font color=lime>"Kas!!No!!"<font color=white> Screamed Ren.


A pair of engines roared over the top of Ren's head, the shadow of Dengro Mangar's firespray loomed over the top of him, gun's pointing down. However the ship didnt fire, it simply hovered there.


The cargo door opened and the cold callous figure of the Captain stood laughing at Ren over the howling of the ships engines.


<font color=purple>"This is quite a mess isnt it Janggar?!!"<font color=white> Sniggered Mangar, <font color=purple> "Onboard my ship I have a rather large payload of Hex missles, I am headed for Mos Espa, if you hurry you might just catch me, HA HA haaa!!!"

<font color=white> Dengro let out an insane cackle before heading back into his ship and blasting out of Mos Eisley.

<font color=lime>"Hex missles??!!" <font color=white> Ren gasped, <font color=lime> "I thought those weapons died with the old republic, if he reaches Mos Espa, they wont have a damn chance, that heartless @#%$!!!!"<font color=white>


Ren sprinted towards the hanger bay where the GreyHawk sat as fast as his Jedi legs would carry him.



The Greyhawk's Engines fired into life, boosting the ship into the air and into the chase . . .
