Kenshin sat quietly, bent slightly over the screen, studying the contents it currently displayed. He was quite absorbed. Kenshin enjoyed most subjects in Social Studies or Science.
Teepo Paladins:
Side: Light
Founder: Nars Teepo
Weapon: Blaster
Notes: A branch off of the Jedi started by Nars Teepo who believed in change and the use of more advanced technology. Was outcasted for the idea of using blasters instead of lightsabers and started the Teepo Paladins who use blasters. They basically are just blaster using Jedi that have a few differences in their code.

Vonta arrived back at the librairy finding the padawan well engrossed in his homework on the Teepos.
She took a moment to look at the data logs. The student was diligent she gave him that much he had hardly left his panel since the last lesson.

From your readings on the Teepo tenants how do you think their philosphys differ with reguard to the jedi code." Vonta was awaiting his answer.
The Philosophical ideas of the ancients force sects needed to be under stood before an of the members of the jedi order could begin to integrate them into their own ideas of how the force worked. This was a corner stone of her own training. Through out her studys she is plagued with questions, ones that challenge her previous training. Giving a new face to old lessons.
Kenshin needed to learn this as well. Other wise his training may be wrought with as many questions of faith as her own were.

"Well, first of all, they believe more in change with the times. Meaning, they would use a blaster instead of a lightsaber. Their code also seems very strict and is followed in a fanatic like way. They are forbidden to touch a lightsaber and are called Paladins instead of Knights probably to distinguish themselves from the Jedi."

Vonta looked at her padawan it was a good answer but not the complete answer.
"Yes there is the fanatic type of adherence to their rules but the same could be said of the jedi code at times. But how are they simular to our jedi code?
What in their code keeps them bound to the light side of the force?"
This was a critical answer that she wanted Kenshin to explore if he was to take the path of exploring the old sects.

"Well, their goal is like the Jedi. They wish to protect and keep the peace. They would never be on the aggressive side and they take it to fanatical point."
