They headed down into the canyon. There were rocky ledges carved into the canyon walls. Ky-Vin and Kenshin made their onto one of these ledges. It was very steep and the rocks crumbled beneath their feets.
Ky-Vin stopped to look over the edge. The bottom of the canyon was a long way down. Small pools of water dotted the canyon floor. He guessed there were great rivers passing through here at one time.
They moved onwards. Often there were obstacles in their path. Rocky outcroppings that had to be climbed over. Vertical faces that needed to be scaled when the ledge they walked on suddenly ended.
Soon the two Jedi came across another.
Their narrow path against the canyon wall was sloping downards, and then it just dropped off into a kind of fissure. The gap was more than a few meters wide.
Ky-Vin and Kenshin looked at each other. "It looks like we're going to have to jump over this one.." he said.
