I looked at the arm that was being held, and then followed it upo to Kamon's face. Staring, unblinkling, into his eyes I pulled my arm out of his grip.

"How about the fact that you never told me about this and I had to do some dective work to figure it out? How about the fact that you told me that you trusted me, but apparently not enough to tell me your future plans? How about the fact that I thought I was like family, and the fact that you are the closest thing I have ever had to a father and you don't think the same way."

I turned away,

"But as I said, I have a workout to complete."

"I guess we go for the Republic."

Kenshin watched with a confused expression as Jacen abruptly made his leave and as Kamon hastily got up to follow is padawan.

Kate sat down on the edge of Kamon's desk and sighed, folding her arms across her chest," You know... I'm beginning to see a trend here. Every time I walk into a meeting some one leaves. Okay, so what, I've got a bounty still on my head that's larger then all get out, yes...I caused an uprising in an outlying system eight years ago that ended up in a war..but for Christ's sake I left that life a long time ago."

Kamon looked a little startled.

"Jacen you know me better than that. I would have told you if I had seen you. I just got back, you know that. I haven't seen you until now, and there was more pressing business.

"I do trust you. I trust you with my life Jace. Like I said, I never had a chance to tell you. You found out while I was gone.

"What makes you think I don't see things the same way you do? Just because I didn't tell you about Kate until now doesn't mean that we aren't close. Everyone has secrets."

He looked a little sad. He was disheartened to see Jace like this. It hurt him a lot.

I looked away for a second, and then stooped walking in the middle of the hallway. I through a look at Kamon over my shoulder, and smiled slightly,

"Alright then...."


I began to walk away, and then stoped in front of the turbolift, I called over my shoulder,

"I want a standing part at the wedding..."

I laughed as I stepped onto the turbolift

Kamon was perplexed. He jumped into the tubolift just before it shut. He also sent a message to Kate over his comlink.

"You guys are free to go. I'm still talking to Jace. We are switching to TTR."

He looked at Jace.

"I really do not understand you."

I was still laughing as Kam jumped into the descenting lift. I stepped back, and pressed the button to go to the training room floor.

"Well, consider that a good thing." I laughed, and turned to look at Kam, he was truly cofused, "Don't sweat it, Kamon. I am sure it'll all work out in the end, and I am sure you two will be very happy. I hope that things with the TTR go this well, too."

The lift came to a stop, and the doors opened. Walkiong down the hell, I stepped into the suana.

"I think you have a fiancee up there that wants to see you. And I need to relax."

I closed the door, and walked in...

Kamon looked at the door as it shut. He sent Jace a message.

Be careful in the training room. There are some..uh.. things set up in there for training which might be a little hard for you to handle.

He descended to the office floor and walked back to his office. He opened the door and walked in. Now that that was done, he hugged Kate in a mre formal greeting.

"How was your trip?"

Kate smirked," A pain in the arse. The Trade Spine was backed up due to a mining frigate being stranded in the middle of the entrance way...traffic here was backed up for an hour...but other then that, everything went smoothly."
