It was the unmistakeable snap-hiss of a jeedai's lightsaber. The Yuuzhan Vong turned his head from the crouch where he was beating the abomination. His eyes wandered up the bodies of the three hideous figures and so rose and made slowly for the man and two women, gripping the amphistaff at a combat position, the snake writhing in his hands excitedly.

Marka reaches down and removes his saber from his belt. With a quick push of the Red button his Dark Green Lightsaber sparks to life with a Snap-Hiss. He circles around Jade and Akai taking his place in front of the Vong. He uses the Force to contact Jade and Arai.
" Jade, circle around and cut off his escape rout. Do Not let him pass you. "
"Arai, get ready to attack. We can not let him contact his friends. "
Marka leapt toward the Vong, now he stands with in a few feet. With one quick upward motion he aims to cut him in half.

Marka leapt toward the Vong, now he stands with in a few feet. With one quick upward motion he aims to cut him in half.

Jade does as she is told, running around to where this vong guy is and cuts him off, the glow of her saber showing off her angry features.
"Now, we fight." she says as she steps towards him, ready to fight a long battle.
"Dominatio Per Malum: Power Through Evil!"

Her soft hand tightened on the grip of the orange bladed saber, and stepped from behind Marka to complete the circle around the Vong warrior. Arai could hear the blood-lust in Jade's voice, and realized she too felt the same.
It was time to fight.

The warrior did not wait for Arai, rather when Jade brought her blade down on the creature, he lifted what looked like a long...black snake.
Was he REALLY going to try to block a lightsaber with that?
Yes...he did block and for some reason the lightsaber clashed back as if two vibroblades colliding. Jade's eyes went wide with sudden fear, and the Yuuzhan Vong wasted no time to respond. He leapt and spun, smashing the woman in the face and throwing her on her back.
Upon closer inspection of the warrior, the three Jedi realized his armor, his weapons, everything was alive on the Yuuzhan Vong. His tatooed and scarred face was bent and disfigured in what appeared to be his own ritualistic manifestations of devotion and rank.
Arai was next, and he thus drove the snaked staff at her as it stiffened out like a spear.

Just as the Vong went leaping for the staff, she leans onto her right side and swings her left leg around in a leg sweep aimed for his feet, trying to knock him down next.
"Thats it. You want me, come get me. Im right here."

Petite and delicate in appearance, Arai was often over looked as a worthy opponent. So when Jade and Marka, both strong and dangerous looking, moved in on the Vong, it was a surprise to her that the Humanoid just spun his snake-like staff around to keep them at bay and concentrated on her.
She managed to block his fist with her arm and brought the unfamiliar saber up to parry against the Vong’s weapon. She jumped back as the weapon was swung at her again but could not avoid the kick that was aimed at her. The armored boot slammed into the center of her chest, forcing the air from her lungs and knocking her off her feet.
She sailed a few feet through the air before thudding into the pile of ash. Gasping for breath she propped herself up onto an elbow in time to see the other two close in once again on the Vong.
