milkshake:I was french immersion, so from grade 6-8 you have 2 classes/2 teachers. Half day in 1 class in english, the other half of the day in the other class in french. The two classrooms were generally across the hall from each other, not like high school where you were all around the building.
They must at some point, though, make a transition between elementary one-classroom/teacher style school and where the kids go from class to class.

Hm, I bet that works pretty darn well. It still seems odd to my US-centric brain that you wouldn't have, like, math class/english class/history class/blah blah. But the US system is so terrible (especially where I live)... Heck, if I'd done nothing from grade 6-8 but become English/French bilingual due to french immersion that would be better than most US kids! As it stood they "taught me french" (hardly!) for 45 minutes a day just like everything else.

Sounds good. I'll move the pair on, if Solir doesn't mind.
No worries, you can go ahead. I've been meaning to make one last Cataclysm post, but unfortunately this is my busiest semester yet, so I haven't had the time

Alrighty. I'll get something done within the week. I've started college again, and first week is always a killer.
