The Rebel Faction

It had been days since Owen had recorded the messege.He had been angry to find out that the shuttle could not work.But he could record messeges and Ethan had left specs to build weapons.

Including a lightsaber.

Owen had never wielded such a weapon before.But he knew he was Force-sensitive and he was going to become a Jedi.He would need a Jedi weapon so now he was constructing one.Ethan had left specs for it and Owen had found parts all over the shuttle, including the crystals.

He had been slaving over his workdesk in he shuttle for three days now.And he was almost done with it.

He also hoped Cairo got his messege.She would probably be looking for him by now.Part of him hoped she would come...and part of him still missed Trinna.

Several hours later he was done.He had followed the specs precisely and the lightsaber was finally done.

He held it up and ignited it.

A brilliant red blade shot out of the hilt.

He was finally armed again.

He sent another messege to Delph, giving his coordinates.He knew Jaina would know it was him, or he hoped.

Cairo had left Delph and headed in the general direction that the Com tech's had said it might have come from...she sighed sadly as she poured over star charts.

Just then, the little com-center aboard that was located at the back of the cockpit began to whirr. Cairo walked back to it and picked up the small print-out...

"Tran?"

Within mere seconds, Cairo had locked in the new, exact coordinates and the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Solo Pride<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was hyperspace-ing it, in high gear, to Tran...

The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Solo Pride<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> shot through the atmosphere of the little planet and swooped down...meanwhile in the cockpit, Cairo was busy looking for Owen.

Cairo smiled and sat her YT-1300 down a little ways from Owen. She lowered the ramp on her ship and ran to him, arms outsteched, "Owen!!"

Cairo ordered the little med-droid around; together, they doctored Owen. A little bacta here, some bandaging there...before long he was all patched up.

"Thank you, XD12. That'll be all." The little droid 'bowed' and went to his storage self, and powered down. Cairo went over to Owen's cot and brushed back a bit of hair from his forehead.

She spoke softly, even though he was still under the meds and unconscience, "Oh Owen...I've missed you so much. It's so wonderful to have you back with me." She bent down and kissed his lips softly. She smiled and looked down at him...he was as handsome as ever. But yet...something was different. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she had a feeling something had happened while he was on that planet...something big...

She brushed it off for now and went back to the cockpit of the ship. It would a bit before he woke up, and so she passed the time playing solo-sabacc...

Cairo didn't look so happy anymore, "Did you?"

She held up a slip of paper. "My med-droid and I cleaned out your pockets when we laid you on the cot and removed your jacket. All I found was this lightsaber, some scraps of paper...and this. From...Trinna. Who's Trinna?"

The paper was just a little note the girl had wrote to him. A simple, "i got held up. might be a little late for our date. love you" kind of note...but Cairo was fumeing.
