Tex orders a shot, and downs it, "I needed this to settle my nerves." he said to himself.

Once he settled down a bit, his eyes began to survey the room. He spotted Jai dancing with some guy he didn't know. <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> It doesn't take a genius to figure whoever the guy is hes enjoying himself.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> Tex smiles and motions to the bartender to feel his glass again.

Tex takes a look at the band, they are the only ones besides himself that are not dressed in costume. "Jai's gonna hear about this when we get back to HQ!", Tex said to himself. "Now that I think about it, she's never been one for details."

Tex quickly surveys the rest of the room trying to recognize a face. Not being able to do so he gets up from his stool as the song ends. He strides in behind Jai, and taps her on the shoulder "Hey Mrs. Darklighter" Tex says with a smile. "How are you this evening? I Hope I'm not disturbing anything. I was hoping you could introduce me to some people here. Seeing as I'm the new man in the galaxy and all."

Jai wasn't really the graceful type, except on the dance floor. Tec wasn't too bad either...the strong leader and the graceful partner were the center of attention for those watching the floor.

Once the song had ended, Jai leaned over and kissed Tec's cheek, "Thank you, that was wonderful. I haven't danced like that in a <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> long<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> time."

Just then, Jai felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned, and there stood Terex Datoo, in all his glory.

"Tex, you old spacedog!"

They talked for a bit and the Tex said, "I was hoping you could introduce me to some people here. Seeing as I'm the new man in the galaxy and all."

"Of course! Why in fact...where are my manners, boys?! I'm sorry....Tec, this is Terex Blair Datoo. He works at TSS now. And Tex, this is Tec Kran Fireheart, he's a TSS member as well."

The boys exchanged hellos and such, then Jai said, "Well, I better go show Tex off to everyone. Introduce him and all. Tec, you can come too, if you like..."

Jade sets her glass down and snorts unladylike, recieving many gasps and dirty looks. She narrows her eyes at those people that turn away now, then turns back to Fearsons.

"Hello" then goes back to her datapad.

Tec laughed and then hooked his arm through Jai's and waited on Tex to do the same on the other side.

Jai and the boys went from little group to little group, introduceing and chatting with everyone. They happened upon Cairo and Owen at the refreshment table...

"Sis! Owen!...there you two are. I was beginning you'd snuck off to the gardens."

Cairo caste a glance in Owen's direction and then blushed as she looked back at Jai, "Of course not, Sis...geesh."

"Mmhmm...<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> sure<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.", Jai commented sarcasticly.

The Solo sisters exchanged <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> I'll-deal-with-you-later,-dear-sister<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> looks and then smirked. Then Jai motion to the two men on her arms. "Tec, Owen, and Cairo, you all know each other, but this handsome, towering, Datooin to my right is Terex Blair Datoo III. TSS's newest slacker."

Jai smiled up at Tex, who gave her a look. "Tex, this is my kid si-"

"Kid?! Jai, I'm 20. I'm not a kid."

"Yeah yeah yeah...anyways, this is Katrina Cairo Solo, TSS's other slacker. And Owen Aiden, TSS's shipyard manager."
