"It's too bad you didn't get to leave under better circumstances. Perhaps next time you will be more mindful of whom you choose to fight. You brought about your own pain and suffering, Malice, I did not make it so. My actions were all in self defense. There's nothing wrong with walking away."
She paused for a moment, thinking of something.
"Your son deserves to know what a strong warrior you are, and he shall know. Your son does not see you as I see you, he sees you as his father, as his Daddy, he knows nothing more. He does not consider you evil, as I do. He knows you belong to the Darkside. In a way, he thinks highly of you..."
"..I know you more than anyone else does, you can deny to me that you have no goodness, but I know it to be true, because I've seen it. You can consume yourself to the Darkside, but there will always be some goodness deep within you, and it will never go away, even if it never makes it to the surface of your heart. It will remain, but it will be hidden."
She kept her gaze on Malice.
"I did not leave you because of your good qualities, I left you because of your bad qualities. It was not my doing, but your own. I could not change you and I had no right to, so I did the honorable thing, and I let you go..."
"Perhaps one day you shall kill me, but it will surf no purpose. I will be gone, but you'll still be as you are now. The dark path is a lonely path. If you continue to kill you will have nothing but anger, sorrow, and pain to keep you company."
'You are always welcome to come see me, so long as you don't bring your Darkness with you. Though that would make you an honorable man, and you don't have what it takes to be honorable, do you?"
She raised her left hand, stopping him from speaking.
"A Jedi is never the one to start trouble, only to stop it. My proof in welcoming you makes that so. All that you have now, your loneliness is your own fault. Not mine and Lono's. You are still that boy's father, and you are still a person. No one deserves to be lonely. You can have company. It is your choice, Malice."
She went quiet, watching Malice. He would probably walk off now, not taking any of her words to heart. The Darkside was too strong within him, but she knew her words would somehow touch him, if even for a little bit, simply because she knew Malice, and he could not deny her from that.
