"Sir, the attacking fleet has changed course once more to intercept us."

Fearghail gave a grin.

"To little to late I am afraid."

A second later, the Sovereign Tetan fleets blinked from view into hyperspace. The would-be-attackers gravity wells had no time to charge and hold them. The massive task force was gone, without another word.

They would believe the Tetans ran, which is precisely what they were wanted to believe. Just as it was exactly what they wanted the Sith to believe. All was going according to plan.

Captain Astarta stood stoicly aboard the Song of War as it careened at thousands of kilometres per hours through hyperspace towards what would be the first combat deployment since the Wraith Virus. The ship on which the Captain stood was one of the few with battle experiance against anything but pirates and mercenaries. The Wayward Sword had even more experience, although under a differnent name.

Laserfire detected, evasive maneuvering!

The bridge was sent into shock as instead of jumping into what should have been ORS ships routing TDC, the Hapan Fleet found itself just to the backs of their allies, lasers blasting.

"Readout!"

"ORS ships are outnumbered, as are TDC ships. We seem to be fighting the same person."

Astarta growled, her red hair shaking itself slightly loose as she reached for her comms.

"Get me the ORS flag, as them what the hell is going on!!"

At that moment, a massive wave of torpedos was seen, launched from the ORS line towards the unknown ships.

"Well, we have an enemy, form up, skirmish screen formation, launch fighters and charge weapons and sheilds. Bring Pulsemass generators online."

The crews rapid discipline was evident as the ships around the Matriarch quickly formed around it, the Lorell Gunships taking the point.

"All torpedos concentrate on the enemies central formation, and lets see if we can launch our reserve fighters ASAP."

Instantly a billow of torpedos was seen to swarm out of the fast paced battlegroup aimed towards the fleets HQ (1st fleet).

(OOC: You've got a fuckload more proton torps to deal with. I think each matriarch alone fires 400 in a volley. I dont wanna do the math atm, but they are aimed at what you'd call your 1st fleet, or whichever battlegroup you wish, assuming the same composition.

OOC: And note - The ORS, TDC, and THC ships are in front and behind of you. It will be very difficult for you to get your entire fleet out. Also note, that The Hapan vessels also have interdictor fields on (pulsemass generators), as well as The Sovereignty ships.

IC:

"Sir, new contacts entering the system. They are the Hapan vessels that we have been expecting!" An ensign shouted from the crewpit.

"Excellent. Send them a report, updating them on recent events" Cage replied.

"Continue with the attack, do not let them escape. Load all missile tubes again, and fire when ready"

Though the gravity wells were active, the Tetan Fleet still seemed to jump to hyperspace. It seemed to defy all laws of physics and reality. No doubt dumfounding all who witnessed it.

In reality, a reality which they would likely never know, the Tetan Fleet had been just outside of long range sensors pick-up area. The images the other fleets had seen were a massive Sith Illusion put on by Fearghail. Fearghail, now drained by his efforts, retired slowly to his chambers as the fleet itself made it's way toward a secret destination. The plan had gone as his master had foreseen. All had gone according to plan.

Malice had sat in the middle of the meditation chamber. A sith amulet he had found years ago resting in the palm of his hands. The amulet a blackish red crystal. The chain brimmed with gold. Closing his eyes, Malice opened himself up to the force. Channeling his darkside energy through the crystal. Amplifying his power.

Through the force he could sense another presense. One unfamiliar to him seemingly shrowding the planet. Then, within a moment......it was gone. It was not a second after the presense had disappeared that his comm went off. Activating it, General Grulong aboard the ISDII spoke.

"My lord, the enemy Tetan Fleet has fled. Another new fleet has arrived. According to my sources it is a Hapan fleet. What shall we do"

*Patience General. We shall handle this. The Tetan fleet was nothing more then an illusion. They were never really there. Cowards*

Closing the link, Malice opened a line via the force with the dark lord.

(Sedriss. The Tetan fleet was but an illusion. Those cowards were never really there. Though i assume they are nearby if they had to place an illusion. Which means their fleet can't be far. Even in Hyperspace. We need to track them down....)

Stopping himself dead sentance, Malice then rethought his plan.

(Scratch that. We need to protect the ancient sith planets. Korriban and Vjun are in danger as long as they remain in the hands of the Tetan Republic. I shall go and see what i can do about this the triumvirate way. Meanwhile, i would advise that you work something out with the ORS and this new fleet that has just arrived)

Malice now exited the chambers. Followed by his sect of priests and alchemists. Malice headed to the hanger bay. With the threat of the Tetan's gone, the planetary shields were lowered. Enabling ships to once more go to and from the planet.

Entering his Lambda class shuttle. Malice sped off away from Khar Delba. He would leave this situation up to the Dark lord and the rest of the Triumvirate. As well as The Dark Circle. He had other plans on his mind. Whoever was behind that force presense will soon regret ever crossing paths with TDC.

Cage observed all of this in silence. In fact, he noticed, the whole bridge was silent. He looked around to see the bridge crew looking up at him expectantly.

"Signal the Dark Circle, tell them that The President will contact them shortly. To The Hapans, tell them they are to follow us out of here, to the rendzevous point. We will get all of this sorted out" Cage said.

He turned back to look out at Khar Delba, the planet he had come to take. This was the way of all things, it seemed. Nothing anymore, was what it seemed...

Minutes later, The ORS fleet sent out its two messages, then dissappeared into hyperspace.

Within moments of receiving the message, the fleet quickly formed up and set their jump position to its first phase of jumps before the rendeavoux.

While traveling away from the Khar Delba space. Malice's comm went off.

"My lord, the ORS has left along with the Hapan fleet. The head of the ORS fleet said the president of the ORS people will be contacting TDC shortly"

*Good. Keep me informed. I want to know about whatever goes on there. Understood?*

"Yes my lord"

With that Malice continued on his way. Where he was headed would remain a secret for now.
