...how did I get back to 0? I didn't do anything, good or bad or otherwise, to move in any direction beyond my standard 25.

That's because it was. Jan and Leia switched names and Avatars. The only way you could tell was looking at the titles or where they were from.

The titles didn't help for a while. Jan or someone switched it to "I'm going to special hell". That was really confusing for a bit.

Yeah, I definately did change my CT to match that of Leia's. We were going to change personal profiles as well, but would have taken too much work and too many people knew our secret by then.

No-one else in the entire world has ever had any problems at all with Xp, its the most stable and perfect OS you can get.

Anyway.
I got it back up and working, barely, it'll do until I get a new one.
That could well be the kiss of death though.
Since lately everything I touch seems to either , break, meltdown, or just fall apart.
