The League of Nations is the empire's way of owning everything that it doesn't own in the core worlds? That's my impression.

I think I'm going to create the Team of Governments. It will have power over everything that isn't owned in the left half of the galaxy and be on very good terms with the Coalition.

To be fair, the League probably would have been fine with the Coalition if someone hadn't decided to set up a base on a dying world and write off its population...

I like the idea of the League from a writing standpoint.

How it was used recently struck me as a little unfair in a way. It's like claiming a planet without the 5000 word requirement, though granted the planet wasn't used for resources. But then comes across like Kach's "I'm going to take 20 planets" thread, "now you can't touch any of those planets".

Just my two cents.

Yes, like I've been saying all along.

LON is the most basic, plain form of godmoding there is.

(I have the utmost respect for Simon, like everyone. But from every angle, it is unfair and godmoding)

Talking objectively for a moment.

The LON is not under TNO's control, of course one could argue the case that it is since Simon is the only one roleplaying it, at the moment.

However, don't forget that since he (and by default The Empire) DOES NOT OWN the said planets in question, it is therefore all NPC, and you have exactly the same amount of control over it as he does yes?

Hell, one of my worlds has just joined the LON, so in that regard, I have a say in it now too, lol

You too can play him at his own game.

Unless, I am mistaken?

one sec... so someone could seduce a government in the 'LON' to do whatever and THEN do a roleplay (5,000) words to take the planet after?

I think that's the idea - so long as the takeover is not a military assault. That would bring the wrath of the rest of the League down on you. But if the Sith wanted to "take" the planet, or say the Union or the BHG...that's another story. I think.
