The Rebel Faction

As the Jedi lept up into the trees, Lupercus snarled, his right arm swinging back.

"Trees? You flee to the trees?"

The lightsabre arched out from his hand in a curving throw. The blade severed the branch on which the padawan was standing as he tried to call for help.

"You are just calling more of your friends to their deaths! But then again, that always was the Jedi way!"

Lupercus fired off another rapid volley of leg and arm aimed sabre slices.

Irman caught the force message from the sith. Now he defined his pedigree of dark force usage with ease. A darkness that has fallen on the universe that is one of the darkest shades of the force. The sith sought to run but the child was in danger from the darkness. And he had to at least give a child a fighting chance a chance to chose his own way.

Irman moves using the force to match speed with the sith. He moves behind him.

(The child is a being of the light and the dark. He deserves to know the truth before you begin such a corruption of his spirit. Just as you did to his mother.) He sent a counter measure to the sith.

"Yes, I felt your families plight from a distance away." Irman continues out loud. "The conflict that erupted between you and your wife of the light just a short time ago."

He was choosing his words carefully letting the child's inquisitive nature take over the task of finding the answers to his questions. He moved about the school using the force to keep doors shut in front of them and to gently push children and teachers out of the path of the trio of force users.

Han sneered at Amalia.

"You want me to leave my cousin alone? You want me to, oh what was it they used to say? Ah yes..."

"Pick on someone my own size? Is that it Amalia? Would you rather me finish your embracement, and leave Leia alone? So be it. I will tend to the other later. Amalia, i can feel it in your heart, you still do not like death. you never did. You always looked for a way to reverse death, some way to bring the power of the gods into your own two hands, and recreate and animate tissue from death. Now it is possible. If you and i are to continue down the path to the darkside that i was so unruishly stricken from, in order to preserve my mission, you must go to Coruscant. There is a book there, of ancient sith spells, some even capable of reversing death. Then, we must take my stricken body, placing it in the temples of Yavin IV, and recite the ancient spell, to combine soul and body once more, allowing myself to return to the realm of the living. Will you do this?"

All she had wanted to do was run away, to be alone with her thoughts.

It did not matter where she went, he would still opt to find her.

Yet at the moment, she had no sense of specifc direction. No particular place she needed to be. Nothing she had to worry about. Her cares and concerns had gone out the window now that the darkside had taken her.

Yet there'd only been one to try and stop her.

He had failed. He'd come so close, but not close enough.

Almost didn't count.

Almost never counted for her, why would it for anyone else?


She sighed to herself.

Anything, she would do anything to get rid of the voices in her head, one of them being Han's.

It doesn't seem as if I have much of a choice, now does it? It should not be too hard to find your body..

The thought of finding his lifeless body made her shiver. It was true, she disliked death.

She had no other options for the time being, and if this was all that was being offered to her now, she would take it.

Something inside her still wasn't quite ready to be alone just yet.

For just a small flicker of a moment, her feelings within the force drifted toward Leia, finding where she was, she reached out to her through the force.

You have something that I want, but I won't come looking for it.

She let go, centering her attention back on Han.

Lead the way....

Yes, how foolish of me not to remember....

She would have to go back toward the Academy, she hadn't been far from there when dueling Malice.

Masking her presence through the force, the fallen Jedi made her way back. She would not hesitate to kill anyone who got in her way, be it Jedi or Sith, no exceptions, anyone.


Amalia fed off of what little energy she could muster from Han, the journey back was difficult. It made her irritable to set foot back on home turf once more.

The closer she got, the more she felt. The more she felt, the more she remembered what she was turning her back on.

She did not even know why she was going, nor why she was going after something she did not want.

She wanted Han out of her head, not to go back.

You will guide me to you, Han, or else....

She would have it no other way.
