I was referring to a sweeping campaign where the Sith withdraw to save themselves and the crusade, seeing the untennable position and conquest not being their goal, they would withdraw as well.

The Force Council is supposed to yell at people with Force characters for throwing around powers like exploding Sith and teleportation, to protect the factions using NPCs and non Force adepts. But now we have this... someone who is trying to combine NPCs with Force powers to overpower everyone? Who is supposed to protect the Force users (and the regular factions) from them?
Please rethink your tactics, and show more respect to PCs. I will not stand by and watch someone turn the Force system into fleeting.

I didn't mean the Force Council system. The Force Council is obviously flawless because I am a part of it.
I meant the Force system as a whole. On a galactic IC scale, we are meaningless. Dolash and Beff have devised a radical new outlook on the power of the Force in this galaxy, and they've poured a lot of energy into their work. Just because it doesn't necessarily express the status quo does not mean it should be cast aside as an attempt to rock the boat or god mode.

Irregardless of whether or not someone thinks the new faction, The Palestar Crusade, offers a new force system and provides force users of the galaxy new meaning, Dolash and I were talking about this thread a bit and Vicirus hits the point on the head squarely. There is no direction to the thread.
As the attacker, the main drive of the story, the main drive of the plot is in the Crusade's hands. The resistance to that plot, the creation of subplots by the defenders plays off of that.
The focus of Homecoming has been more about the characters rather than any driving plot. That is why so much is focussed on the actions of these characters by readers (whether you like what they do or not)...because there is nothing else for the reader to focus on.
Beyond the attack itself, there is nothing.
No goal. No understanding of what the Crusade is doing there. There has been some foreshadowing that Dacian is returning to Xa Fel (hence the title: Homecoming) but as yet, he hasn't faced any Sith character so even the dramatic expectation of his Homecoming is missing. The Rebellious teenager is not coming in through the front door with his gang to confront his parents and settle old issues.. no.. it's like he's banging on the front door with his gang but avoiding his parents. It's anticlimactic. There are no flashbacks during his time at the Temple that might reveal his purposes, his thoughts or desires.
In my opinion, the thread of Homecoming, this attack on Xa Fel is, so far, one big movement forward. The only plot/goal the defenders have to resist, so far, is what the attackers have established: This "movement" forward.
So each successive post becomes more creative ways to move forward (for the Crusade) and more creative ways to stop the movement forward (from the Sith). The attackers expect long posts but simply long posts do not equate quality. If you don't give the defenders something more to respond too then, to create those long posts, they will simply describe more and more damage.
So the attackers need to expound not on their ship from the bowels of hell but their actual goals, purposes and just wtf are they doing.
So far..The Crusade has entered orbit, landed their soldiers, moved on the Temple, have entered the Temple...are they in the catacombs?..
..but to what end?
Is there a secret ring of power he found in the Temple during his short time there? Some secret amulet that will allow him to move more easier into the next phase of his Crusade Campaign? Is it a personal message to the Sith? If so, he's taken an awful long time in coming out and saying it. If even to his own command staff so the reader knows.. He hasn't talked to any enemy IC so technically no one knows who he is...which kind of defeats the dramatic climax of Homecoming as the rebellious teenager with his gang beating down the door of his home only to find that no one knows who he is?
The thread and story is still good with potential but it is also ready for that revelation, that kernel of purpose for the reader to glimpse inside the mind of Dacian. Which is what these threads are mostly about no?

Right Zark, in the name of progress and innovation fuck all those people with FC approved Force ranks, we're going to yell at the Sith for claiming that each of their PCs has the ability to use advanced Force powers, and we're going to allow a huge NPC army controlled by an Apprentice level Force user to push the unwilling Sith right off their home planet by bullying them with the statement "my NPC army is bigger than yours".
I am all for this new approach, but come on... Yes, the Sith need to stop teleporting and exploding themselves quite so much, but let's also realize that for each Sith character in that thread someone has put months, years, of time into earning their powers. You shouldn't be able to negate that by simply throwing more NPC's into the battle. I mean, you want to talk about a useless Force system?
TNO spent years developing their NPC armies. The Force factions spent years making individual characters powerful. Though we all realize a Force faction has no chance of defeating TNO, the efforts of both TNO and the Force users should mean something similar. Did the Jedi lose Naboo to the Sith and TNO in the Dark Side of Democracy?
No. But then, you are hard pressed to find a writer more talented or reasonable than Omnae. If he'd had the mind, the Jedi would have left Naboo a bit earlier than Visionary 5...
I think the approach is truly innovative and provide a new dimension to the battlegrounds. But IMHO, the application so far has been underhanded. As has been pointed out, this whole thread has clearly been about power, not storyline. The more NPCs the Crusade throws at the Sith, the more Force power they will throw back...

As I want to clear the air concerning the 'teleportation' bit, as I've stated before, Vicirus was training with a member of the Aing-Tii Monks - whom, and I quote:
