From within the being shot forth a gratuitous fit of insane absurd laughter. Tilting his head back while raising and then waving a thin yet frail looking hand from within his red robe, the dark figure spoke as best he could through his fit of laughter.
".. Please... no more. Stop. You kill me..."
He continued to wave his left hand for a few more seconds, as if begging Janus to stop with words that the figure thought were somehow so painfully funny, extremely humorous actually, before ceasing his laughter all together.
"Forgive me... but I just could not help myself."
He could not help but be oblivious at times, after all, not everything about him was that direct and obvious.
"... Hmm, you know, that is not a bad idea, really. Good one, Janus...."
He paused, giving Janus a bored and dreary look.
"You'd be one of the very last I would look to for such a ritual. Though I must say, I do admire your immense ego."
He shrugged imperturbably.
"I never tell a lie. Trust me or do not trust me, it is up to you."
