I love Blind Guardian. Have their discography.
I was introduced to them through their more power metalish stuff, and as I grew to like them more I learned to embrace their more folkish work.

Blind Guardian is a German Power Metal band, known to be the best of that sub genre of metal. They came out with an album this past year, A Twist in the Myth, other great albums include Nightfall on Middle Earth (About the Simillarion), A Night at the Opera, and others. Basically they are the best of the best when it comes to power metal. The singer Hansi also sings with Schaeffer of Iced Earth in their side-project, Demons and Wizards, another great band.
