All of the early C&C games are great. I've both Red Alert and RAII - the original doesn't run on Windows XP! :( I had the old school GDI vs. Brotherhood of Nod C&C, too... great game.

The only one I never played was Tiberiun Sun... gotta find a copy of that one, still.

Generals was released in 2003, btw.

I think probably the easiest General to play with is the Chinese Infantry General. The hardest General to try and win with would probably be either the USA Laser General or the GLA Stealth General.

Although it's great fun to hijack an opposing army of Emporer tanks.
