It really is an awesome game. I was expecting it to rock, but it was even better than I expected.

As Vance indicated, the graphics are almost spot in the ad.

Also, this is one of a very very few games where one can use a massive orbital particle cannon to take out your enemies with laser guided precision. I suggest everyone that enjoy this kind of genre that a look at this game.

For Demo, there have been rumors about a PC version so maybe you'll get your wish :)

No PS3 version either. I'm pretty sure it's a 360 exclusive. And in an article I read from the developer when asked about a PC version he said they had no plans for it yet, but it could happen, but not for a while.

As for UT 2007, it's expected to release early 2007, probably around the same time as Vista.

The game thats being hyped as the "GoW' for PS3 is Resistance: Fall of Man. Although I've beaten Gears and I agree with all of the above, very kickass.

Never played it not about to. It's just a kickass advertisement. Its such an amazing pairing that song with the gameplay.

I got it. It's a pretty sweet game, nothing like chopping up aliens with a chain saw and watching the blood splash up on your screen. Me and my brother beat the co-op story mode. Very nice game.

My friend actually beat it in like 2 days and got pissed at me for making him spend $60 on it. He doesn't have Xbox live so I guess I could see how it's not worth it to him.

Just bought a 360. Will be playing Gears of War this weekend with some friends (I am hoping it has the same multiplayer capabilities as Halo). I need to get the HD and another controller for the Box though. It sucks without a HD. I have Live so hopefully it won't be that difficult to move the account from my old Xbox to the new.

I've been messing with Half Life 2 on my regular Xbox (since my 360 has no HD). This is one freaky game.
