Also, I have an idea for a fictional "Capital" planet for the Smuggilers Alliance, as well as a sort of history.
Does anybody know what happened to the Errant Venture on this timeline? Even smugglers can use a bit of muscle.

I remember some random blurb about Terrik The Next or what-have-you commanding the Errant Venture in some non-military, commercial type venture thread that, for the life of me, I cannot recall.
