Anyways, they are for a fact making a Wolverine movie so we will see some more of him for sure. Personally, I want to see Gambit in a movie. Gambit is the best.

I see huge potential for a sequel. Reason 1: The beginning scene of the movie shows them practicing for fighting Sentinels. Reason 2: Magneto is getting his powers back so the cure may not be a real cure. Reason 3: Xavier is still alive.

The Sentinels thing kinda threw me. What the hey? Where did those come from, wrong place in the timeline, no?

Bounty Hunter
It may not have, in fact, been a Sentinel. I highly doubt it was.
Prior to the introduction of Shi'ar tech in their trainig facilities, ie the Danger Room, Professor Xavier used various large and small robots to simulate attacks on his X-Men.
I think, in the case of the film, it was probably just a plot device used to forshadow the eventual introduction of the Sentinels. Probably something Professor X "borrowed" and may well be used to further the whole question-the-teachers-ethics theme that was touched on in the scene between Charles and Logan Re; Jean.

That could be true I suppose. Though it really did look like a sentinel head that Logan cut off the thing...

Bounty Hunter
Actually, it didn't.

I think the X3 official videogame ties into the movie, being pre-movie, which explains the sentinals and such... I have yet to watch the film, though.

Jedi Mastah
Yes it did, Beff.

Bounty Hunter
Oh? Really Kamon?

Is that what a Sentinel looks like? 'Cos I have stacks and stacks of comic-related Media that says you're wrong.
It may be a Sentinel, but it sure as shit don't Look like a Sentinel. And having not played the video game, I couldn't speculate as to the excuse. But if I were t do just that, I'd guess prototype or forerunner.
Movies like to re-imagine these things, so yeah... sure maybe it's an X-3 Sentinel, but it sure ain't doing a lot to look like the comic Sentinels. That's all I'm sayin'.
Without sayin' nothin.

When I saw it I thought "sentinel." You might be right about it being a forerunner, but it DOES resemble a sentinel's head. Other than the fact that the eyes resemble headlights.
