The Rebel Faction

Vodo sighed quietly as he felt eminations of increased dark energy coming from Silus. He felt the Forces warnining prickle just before the other jumped, both blades spinning.

He stepped forward, and raised the only weapon he had available.

His walking stick.

Using the Force to bind the molecules of the stick at a subatomic level, the blades of the lightsabers skipped off easily, not breaking the Ithorian baffor wood.

As Silus landed, Vodo fell into a crouch and swept one leg backwards through the Sith Apprentice's legs, knocking him off his feet as he was still trying to balance himself after the jump.

Vodo ignored the Sith as the other spoke. Arrogance was coming off the man like steam. It seemed to have no end. His face remained passive as he snapped the stick up to lay against his forearm.

One of the reasons he preferred the stick is because it did not weigh much and could be used very swiftly. Vodo blocked the high slash as he jumped over the low one. As he landed he spun, the stick in his right hand.

He lashed at Silus's face as he reached for the Force and pushed mentlaly with it, towards the Sith's chest.

Vodo retreated within himself, taking hold of his measure of calm. The Force flowed through him, strengthing him. As the shards of glass headed towards his face, he set up a mental wall with the Force. It was as strong as durasteel.

The glass thundered against his shield, destroying them. But some got through, cutting gashes in his face. Blood dribbled down from three different minor cuts. As Silus stabbed at his stomach, he brought his stick down in an arc, directing it to his right, and Silus' left.

He then spun clockwise, putting him back to back for a second with the Sith, as he stepped away, he struck downward, cutting Silus in the back.

Vodo felt the incoming wave of Force power, but he allowed it to flow over him. It was almost like defelcting a blaster bolt with a lightsaber. Vodo simply redirected the Force push, but nevertheless, he still felt it.

He stumbled back a bit, before regaining his balance. He then reached out with the Force, trying to feel the other. As he suspected, Silus was hiding his Force signiture from him. But what Silus probably did know was that while he hid his Force signature, he also hid a space in the Force.

Vodo expanded his sphere of responsibility, and searched for any holes where he coulf not feel his surroundings.

One spot stood out.

Vodo, almost casually raised his hands and a very large durasteel plate disconnected itself from the side of a nearby building. Guided by the apprentice, the plate rushed toward the place where he had detected the missing spot in the Force.

Vodo extended his hand, palm outward as the blaster bolts were fired toward him. His nearby blue Lightsaber ignited itself and jumped up off the ground where it had been laying.

Using the Force Vodo deflected the bolts with the lightsaber, which hovered in the air a few feet away from him. The bolts flew several directions, none of which hit the Jedi Apprentice. Then, pointing the blade like a spear, it shot forward with lighting speed toward Silus, ready to pierce him...
