The Imperial Sentinel class Assault Shuttle Tydirium shuddered as the tractor beam grasped her, and drew her into the landing bay. Fortunatley for the ships, the missiles that had hit them, while disabling, were not as disabling as ion cannon, for they flew into an energy field, not direct ion bolts. However, the mag pulse missiles that followed were just as effective as direct ion cannon hits, utterly disabling the shuttles. The shuttles, and other craft were pulled into the bay of the Imperial Star Destroyer Oracle, whose name had come up before the shuttle was disabled. Then they settled onto the docking bay. On the yachts, where there were windows for viewing pleasures, the civilians, and military personnel saw were there were some hundreds of stormtroopers there, waiting to either kill them or stun them. The civilians thought they were going to stun them, so the Imperials said that they were going to, so that they could tortue and rape them later for their own pleasure, as well as obtain secrets from them for their amusement, and so they have some idea of what they will encounter down on the planet. The civilians, the women and children espically, began to cry at this statement, and the Imperial troops felt sorry for them. Then they felt burning hatred. In their minds, they went back to when they were in training on Carida, or Rachuk, and sought out in their minds what their instructors tought them to do in a situation like this.
Then, they knew what they were going to do. They broke into the ammunition lockers on the shuttles, and the troops in the Yachts dug into their belts for whatever they had on them at the time. Then, it was time for action.
First, the pilots of the five TIE Defender pilots dug into their control panels and reworked their engines, messing with the lines running to the Twin Ion Engines, doing something they had been instructed never to do. The Soveriengty troops saw them bustling in their fighters and brought up their weapons, ready to fire the stun bolts, but they stayed in a tight ring around the ships, which was their funeral. Then, they fed the power from their blaster packs into the engines. Finally, they stabbed their hands onto the suicide needles that they had carried on them.
Waiting in the shuttles, the Imperials, and civilians heard five simultaneous concussions as the ion engines on the starfighters blew, raining shrapnel across the hangar bay. On the yachts, the windows were blown out, and some civilians killed by glass shrapnel. But most importantley of all, the ORS troops, those who weren't killed by the shrapnel on the fighters, had been concussed off their feet. Within seconds, the Imperial troops in the yachts threw thermal detonators out of the shattered windows, and into the ranks of the ORS troops. Then the troops who were at the back of the ranks, and thus were not as badly affected, fire back, their stun beams going into the shattered windows, and knocking out the Imperial troops. Then the shuttle ramps lowered, and all hell broke loose.
The civilians, the ones in the front, held no weapons at all, but ran straight at the ORS troops, screaming bloody murder, and flailing their hands. A couple seconds later, the next line of civilians appeared, these having blaster pistols. These were the men and women who had combat training, and while fewer in number than the ones out front, they knew how to work the pistols. Only seven hundred and fifty ORS troops got back up from being knocked down, and then another one hundred fell to the grenades. The others stood up, and their attention was rivited to the first civilians charging to their ranks. Their stun beams fell on them, downing their in their tracks. Then, blaster bolts came over the heads of the falling civilians, striking the ORS troops and felling them backwards. Some twenty five ORS troops were killed in this manner, and some seventy five were injured. Another one hundred down. Then the civlians with the blasters charged out into the hangar bay, firing their pistols with abandon as they were targeted. Finally, behind them came the Imperial troops themselves, walking as if they were injured. They threw grenades, then opened fire with their blasters.
Several large concussions later, and many blaster bolts, it was all over. The ORS troops had won. Only fifty of them remained, with another two hundred fifty injured or knocked out. The Imperial TIE Pilots, those in the defeders, and the devils were dead, with the defenders having blown themsleves and their starfighters up, and the devils blowing themselves and their starfighters up with grenades during the melee on the ground. The rest of the soldiers, and civilians had been stunned, except there was some kind of movement detect on the inside of the shuttles, and yachts............
