Dolash tapped in a number-code into a lock on the starport door, which opened, giving them access to the Jedi's shuttle. "I have reason to suspect. She may be dead, but for some reason her spirit can still be sensed in the Force - in dreams, and half-glimpsed visions. A Jedi must never disregard his dreams, for they are a source of information regarding the Force. I expect we'll know more when we get there."
The two worked for a time, moving boxes into the ship that had been delivered ahead of time - supplies provided for their trip. "The Jedi Order runs greatly on charity these days, and on whatever of worth we might bring back or discover. Best be careful with these supplies then." The work was calming, giving them time to stretch and wake for the day ahead. It wouldn't be long before the others arrived, the group of six Jedi whom Dolash had come to rely on as a solid bedrock of support in the endeavours of himself and Marek.
"Right! I'm pleased you all managed to arrive on time. Marek and I have taken the liberty to loading the shuttle in advance, so unless there's any pressing concerns we can be on our way."
"Yeah, I've got a bit of a pressing concern." said Proq, the Twi'lek garbed in loose, baggy, and heavily pocketed robes "Mind telling us where we're going this time? Only last time I forgot my flash-light and the time before that I didn't have my winter coat. If we all get to wherever we're going and you just give me a funny look and say "Where's your sunglasses?" or some such thing, I'll snap."
"Never fear" he replied "We are going to Felucia, and althought it is an altogether unpleasent jungle, there is nothing I can think of we'll specifically need that isn't already packed."
"Well, then what are we looking for?" said Katria, a young woman with flowing hair and an inquisitive expression. "I do know it's the site of one of the last battles of the Clone Wars..."
"True, true." said Dolash, as the Jedi came aboard "The Force seems to be drawing us to find the remains of one Aayla Secura, a Jedi slain there. Her spirit may yet reside in that place."
"So we seek the remains of the fallen?" said Fwar, a towering, furry Frozian just as tall as Dolash. "A noble goal, to be sure, but how will this get us closer to figuring out what is wrong with the Force?"
"Haven't you been paying attention?" said Ian, an unkempt man with a scruffy black beard and tufts of black hair. He strapped himself into the pilot's seat and said "So far, nothing we've ever done would sound like it'd solve a problem with the Force, so I doubt we'll know until we get there."
It was then that Jubaz, the scarred Rodian in a short robe, arrived bearing Barris's crystal, without which the transparent blue spirit wouldn't be able to move. Behind him, Barris herself followed.
"We are prepared?" said Jubaz slowly, as he passed the crystal to Dolash. Dolash nodded, and the Rodian smiled "Good."
"An early start might benefit us." said Barris "There is a lot of battlefield to search, if my memory serves. Aayla secura always stayed near the front, but even that line ran across a vast swath of land."
"Good for her!" exclaimed Shillia, who was a Devaronian equally as furry as Fwar if not as tall. She smiled, and said "Sounds like girls did all the
good fighting in that war! Anakin, the Clones, Dooku, Grievous, and Palpetine all turned evil, and the only thing they all had in common was testicles." she paused, while several of those assembled began to blush "...Except maybe Grievous. Did anyone ever have a chance to find out? Anyways, my point is that it was men who were the bad guys in the Clone Wars."
"Really?" said Barris, rather coldly "I simply
must tell you about Asajj Ventress one of these days."
Dolash hadn't been listening, he had been making flight corrections with Ian. Satisfied that their course was plotted, he stood back up and said "All right everyone, prepare for take-off. Our next arrival shall be Felucia." He slapped Marek heartily on the back "We must be prepared for whatever adventure awaits."
