The Rebel Faction

Gorvn suddenly rose to his feet from the chair he had been sitting in, but Leia showed no indication of doing the same. She was sitting behind her desk, as sometime during the conversation they had moved back into her office for privacy.

Leia frowned as Gorvn asked her to repeat herself. She had noticed signs that he had not been listening to her for the past few minutes, and she wondered what could be a source of such distraction to him. Nonetheless, she sighed and started again.

"I said, by no means is this going to be a safe trip. I'm not sure what the Empire's current policy is on alien species, but you could likely stand out even worse on Corellia than you normally tend to here. The knowledge and skills you have learned should keep you safe, but let the crew of the ship handle everything. When you meet up with the rebel contacts onplanet, it is arranged to be under the cover of night, so you won't have to worry about that. Just make it to the coordinates on the datapad on time. And, try to keep..... well, as small a profile as possible."

Leia's voice grew softer.

"Just be careful, okay? Our plan is tight, the crew on the ship will know what to do, so just let them do their jobs while you do yours."

Leia pushed a datapad she had just finished entering information into across her desk to Gorvn, who picked it up.

"Like I said, everything you need to know is on that thing; contacts, manifests, your onplanet schedule and directions, and emergency contacts in case something goes wrong. If something does happen.... you need to destroy it before it falls into enemy hands, there's a lot of stuff on there that could get a whole bunch of us in big trouble with the Imps. Guard it with your life, you hear me?"

Leia continued before Gorvn could answer.

"The ship is scheduled to leave at noon tomorrow, make sure you get there maybe an hour before so that you can make sure everything is ready, including yourself."

Leia leaned forward in her chair, closer to Gorvn.

"Gorvn, I want you to understand..."

Leia was interrupted by a loud knock on the door.

Now who could that be?

Suprised with herself that she had not sensed the approach of another person, Leia reached out with the Force. She gently probed for an identity to the presence she sensed waiting outside her door.

It was Tec.

Now what could he want?

"Come in," Leia said loudly, and a few moments later the door slid aside to reveal Tec. There was a moment of silence as Leia eyed Tec.

"Well, hello.... what can I do for you?"

Somewhere in the galaxy.




There was darkness everywhere. It seemed to pervaded every crevice and nook, almost as if to say I am all while demonstrating its power to any who observed. But for now, someone who very much was all was the one who was observing. Lupercus could sense something distantly approaching through said darkness, although for some reason he remained unable to identify it. Unconciously he grabbed one of his sabres, its bloodly blade revealing the darkness before Lupercus could stop himself.

What the...

As the area lit up it felt as if in a cave, but the light seemed to simply taper out only a few feet from the Sith. And just inside that tapering light was, something. To Lupercus it was simply a big insect, jedi robes and holstered lightsabre alluding to the Hapan that it was, in fact, a big jedi insect.

Without concious thought Lupercus instantly smirked, leaping forward blade leading towards the insect. With an intense sense of release the Sith Lord struck, the insect only feebly raising its foreclaws in its defence, sabre rending both sinew and exoskeleton.

As it fell Lupercus sensed a great weight lifted from his shoulders and he knew that the final Jedi had fallen. Looking down at the corpse saw the creatures blood drip down, below the blackness that was the 'floor'. Suddenly the ground was a massive starscape and Lupercus was flying with it, larger than life amongst the stars.

Truly amazed by these occurences Darksword felt something in his right hand. Raising it to his face before he unclenched his fist, Lupercus opened his palm just as more blood dropped from the body of the insect (which Lupercus believed was above him, but could not see any longer). The blood landed on the object in the Sith Lords palm.

That object was the planet of Corellia.




Palace of the Diktat, Corellia




Darkness was again rendered before his eyes, only this time it was replaced by light as his eyes opened, revealing the Governors Palace and his very own bedroom. With the look of a spice addicted paranoid Lupercus scanned all around him as if both trying to make sense of the situation and look for any who might be out to get him.

Alone, Lupercus calmed significantly.

The images in that dream, so vivid...

"... So representative."

He smirked, understanding now the value of precognition.

Climbing across the vast bed to reach his bedside table, the Diktator reached for his intercomm.

"Sera?" He didn't wait for acknowledgement, he knew she would be waiting. "Summon the Order to Corellia.

Immediately."

She was curt in her reply, sexual undertones obvious as usual.

Ignoring them, also as usual, as he hung up Lupercus then lay back to relax, his mind awash with thoughts of glory and vanity. And with that, his attention was turned once again from his duties as a Sith to his duties as a brother...

Silus ran his hands across the wall with amusement. The simple paintings depicted a lifetime of murder, deceit, pain. The one thing that entertained him was the fact that he'd seen it all before. The man shook his head, trying to remember, before giving up on his observations. His lightsaber activated, cutting a hole between two paintings of a man bowing to another. He'd see the rest another day.

From the darkness, it was hard for him to hear the soft drip of water. He cupped his hand around the small puddle and raised it to his face, smiling as the clear liquid began to darken, then slip through his fingers back to the puddle below. As he watched, the darkness soon spread through the puddle, consuming everything it touch. He smirked as it climbed up his boots.

His mind was filled with pain, the murals coming to life. He heard voices scream at him in a language he couldn't understand. The darkness continued passed his hips, pulling him closer to the black pool before him.

Silus laughed as it pulled his head under. His lungs filled, and he woke.



Correlia

"The governor requests all members of the Order,"

Silus turned to the source of the voice, half-expecting another primitive painting.

With a frown, he replied to cut off whatever she planning to say, "Very well. Tell him I'll be there soon."

The apprentice ignored her as he put on his robes and disappeared into the hall.

(Gorvn feel free to just take off with your part of the story so that this RP doesn't lag too horribly...)





There was a silent pause as Gorvn took his leave from the room. As he left, Leia thought she sensed a bit of unharnessed excitement emanating from him.


This trip would be good for him... most of the Padawans at the Academy needed the chance to get out in the galaxy and gain experience in simple little tasks, before she was forced to thrust them into a situation which otherwise would be a rude awakening for them...


Her gaze shifted from the door, back to Tec's black eye.


"So you are saying you came to see me about... technically, nothing?"


She was merely teasing him, and the hints of a smile flickered across her lips. She was only half-heartedly trying to keep a straight face...
