From 14 to almost 20 i had that mentality. Once you've hit 20 you realise that your parents are too important to neglect in that respect.
Sure, you don't tell them everything, but you level with them to a certain extent.

I guess it might be simply a matter of self realisation and maturity. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying you're immature, but you've really got to sit down and realise that your parents are people too, who (probably) love you more than life itself.
They'd do anything for you, is a little honesty too much to ask?
That having been said, i mean post script honesty, don't tell them you're on drugs when you are, tell them once you've moved on.

dont get me wrong Lup. i love my parents how else could i afford the bad-ass bmw 3-series im driving without someone to co-sign. you bet ya. i just dont feel the need to tell parents or anyone for that matter what i do with my personal time. im pretty sure if not certain that half of this island i live on would know im doing drugs. ignorance is bliss and i'll take that to stone. three important rules when doing drugs. a) dont take money from mommy's purse, b) dont commit any horrible crime like killing your friend, c) dont let it ruin your responsibilities (ie: feeding your children, going to work on time.) other then that the world is perfect if you do drugs and follow my three rules.
