Mandalorian: I'd lurk about a bit first, before joining a group. Bum around in their forums, chat and goof off with the members, and make a decision later. That way you can get a feel for them before joining.

Yeah. That or he could start at the Astoria or something, looking for a target of some kind. There's more than enough Sith right now if you feel like stretching your legs by going for a Sith Apprentice (and save me the trouble)
